Urias trecks through the forest along a path that was well known to him from his youth spent in the forest.

The forest track was well trodden by man and beast. Urias could see tracks of fox and wolf and rabbit but the freshest were bear tracks and he could tell by the scents that at least one bear had marked his territory here. The bear tracks led into a thicket.

Urias noticed the Bear tracks and was able to guess that they where quite recent approaches the thicket to see if it was a bear that he has seen before or if it was one that was new to him.

Observation role = success.
Urias recognises the tracks as belonging to a bear he has followed before, a male, fierce and strong. A scrap of fur hangs on a twig. The tracks are deep and continue further into the thicket but the bear is not yet visible. Urias may make a path through.

Urias mutters an incancation under his breath to clear a path through the brush. He makes his way through the new path that he cleared. He collects the scrap of furs that hangs on the twigs and packs them away in a pouch inside of his robes.

As the druid walked, the tracks got fresher and fresher. He tracked the bear to a cave. Bones could be seen outside, relics from the bear's last meal. It looked like pigeon bones. It was up to Urias whether he wanted to risk entering the cave or not.

Urias smiles and heads into the Cave searching for the bear with his mind to warn the bear of his presence and to calm it, so that he is not greeted with a very angry bear.

But the bear was not actually in the cave. Urias made a thorough search but though he found traces of earlier meals, scraps of fur and the like, there was no bear.

Urias leaves the cave slightly disappointed. He looks at the ground trying to figure out where the bear went after he left his cave.

After a moment, Urias heard a noise. The bear came trotting through the thicket and stopped to sniff the air. Then it caught his scent and ran towards him, growling.

Urias stands his ground, he reaches out with his mind once more to communicate with the bear and to try and calm him down.

The bear calms, stops and moves forward to sniff at Urias. Though he is a big bear and dangerous, he poses no threat to Urias at present. He is calm enough that Urias may safely touch him if he wishes.

Urias reaches into one of his pockets and brings out a couple berries that he knows bears to like so that he may eat some if he liked.

The bear snuffled at the berries and ate them. Then he stretched out and lay down on the ground, apparently completely at ease.
