It would be really helpful to me when I come to design the initial plot if I could have some idea in advance what kind of characters people want to play. You can have 2 characters at present.
Once you know what character classes you want to be, please post here before you create the profiles. Also if you know which specific characters you want from the list, please post that too so I can cross them off the master.

I'll take Tristram of Lyonesse. My second character will be a Cornish knight I make up probably.

Tristram, I'd ideally prefer you to take someone from the list. If you desperately want someone you've made up I'll hear your ideas but I think it will be easier to relate to the character if he has a recognisable name and a place in legend that we can work with.

OK. Well I might as well take Mark of Cornwall in that case and make Tristram my second character.

Ok, that works. Just to be clear, there's no obligation to have your characters from the same area unless you want them to be. This isn't like a Westeros game with set regions. Also, the skillsets won't be weighted unevenly so it's entirely your choice if you focus on one character more than the other or play them both equally. I just wanted to give everyone the chance to play more than one so you have more opportunities for RP. Though I hope I can avoid forced inactivity of characters.

I'd like to reserve Sir Palomides the Saracen as my second character.

Ser Lamorak still available? If so I'll take him.

Yes, he is. I will cross the people named so far off the master list.
Tall, I have crossed off Mordred on your behalf in case you do definitely decide in his favour. I can always restore him later if you change your mind.

Would you mind adding Sir Ironside to the list as my second character? I think I'll have him sworn to serve Hallewes. Should be an interesting take on the legend. Description for him could be something like "A knight from the Red Lands bound in service to the sorceress Hallewes."
If so, you can make Gawain available again and I'll take Ironside and Merlin.

Sour, both reserved for you.
Don't worry, Tall, there's no rush. I have another assignment I need to worry about and I will be out most of tomorrow daytime, then I need to revise the character creation progress to alter the skills and consider the vices/virtues thing. And get a clearer idea on the first mission. I know vaguely what it will be but I don't want to completely make it up as I go along!

Yeah. I don't mind lots of work when it's fun as in this case but it will take a few days before I am ready to start. But then rushing into it is probably a bad idea. That will also give us time to see if we get more people. Just wish I didn't have to do the blasted essay!
