Morgan shrugged.
"I don't know," she said. "I was alone when I came here before and I was not ill. The only people I've ever known come here were the druids and they are trained for such things. Do you feel better now?"
Arthur smiled at Dagonet.
"Welcome, sir. I hope you are feeling well? I am pleased at least one of my warriors has the courage to join me, alongside our brave bard and Lady Dina."

Taliesin took a deep breath to steady himself, "I'm only brave when the occasion calls for it. And I am fine, thank you for asking, milady. All is well."

"Please just call me Dina Your Grace." Dina said slightly uncomfortably. "Being called Lady reminds me of my mother."

"Good. I may be able to offer you herbs if you need them," she said. "But whatever you do, do not eat or drink in this kingdom. Water is the only thing that may be safely drunk here."
"Dina, then," Arthur said. "But I was raised to treat ladies with courtesy. At Court you must be Lady Dina, but here, where we are friends and companions, you can be simply Dina if you wish."

"That will be unnecessary, milady," the bard said to Morgan, "but why should I not eat or drink here, if you don't mind me asking?"

"But of course Your Grace. At court is a different matter entirely, but we are going to be companions on a quest for a while and I would rather be comfortable with who I am with there." Dina replied smoothly.

Morgan smiled sympathetically at the bard.
"Because, Taliesin, the lore states that any man - or woman -= who eats the food of the Fay, or drinks from their cups, will be doomed to spend time in their realm, and it is not clear how much time may pass. Perhaps a day, a year, or even twenty years. We don't want to lose you. I have met the King and Queen of the Fay and they told me that the story is truth. There's a legend of a man, a bard like yourself, who was their captive for a week and when he came home, all his kin were dead,"
Arthur nodded at Dina's remark.
"I quite understand. We are a glorious company and I wish us to be great friends."

Taliesin laughed, "Well, it's good that you'd miss me, because none of my kin are alive to do so."

"Oh, that's tragic," Morgan said softly. "And of course we'd miss yuo. Who else would play for us as well as you do?"
Arthur spotted Galahad coming through the mist.
"Sir Galahad, come join us!"

Merlin passed next through the mist, though he was hardly recognizable as the wizard that had entered.
His plain brown attire had somehow been replaced by robes of made of a dazzling deep blue fabric. They were covered in shimmering silver symbols depicting constellations, runes, moons in various cycles, and some shapes alien to the mortal realm. Atop his head sat a pointed hat of the same blue fabric with matching silver symbols. The runes on his staff now glowed a bright blue.
In truth, the ensemble looked rather ridiculous and gaudy, but somehow it seemed fitting for the mystical realm.

"Merlin!" Arthur cried in wonder. "How magnificent you look. How did you do that?"

Merlin looked confused for a moment, before glancing at his odd new vestments. He chuckled heartily before replying his king.
"Magnificent you say? Well, my boy, all magic in our realm originates from the Fay. It seems that the Fay's gift to Morgan and myself is more outwardly expressed in its home realm. Personally I had hoped to show you my fabled tail and horns, but I suppose these horrid trappings will have to do."

Dina giggled at merlins reply
"I was truly looking forward to seeing your horns." She said trying to keep the laugh out of her voice

"Yes, so was I," Arthur said with a laugh. "I don't think your new attire is so horrid, Merlin."

Merlin let out a comic sigh.
"I do hate to disappoint, especially a young lady and my king, but such is life. I have always believed one should let his actions speak for him, not his attire. It was a lesson I hopefully taught well, Your Grace." he replied, with a wink.
