Mordred looked up slowly his pace he nodded and the sword easily slide back into the scabber, "Forgive me Sister I was but trying to pass the time."

"You should pass the time in prayer and reflection," she said. "Or reading. We have many books here - and no, not all of them are the Holy Bible. You would be welcome to borrow one if you so wish."

The nun laughed.
"And here I thought a warrior had no time for the Bible. I will send Sister Agatha with a copy but she cannot linger. She has duties, as do we all. But I hope you will dine with me this evening. I am Judith, Abbess of Glastonbury."

Mordred nods his head to the Mother Abbess and as she walks away steps back into the hut and put his sword back away.

Half an hour later, the young nun, Sister Agatha, arrives with a huge illuminated copy of the Bible. It's in Latin and the illuminations are bright and wonderful,with pictures of animals, plants and saints.
"I hope you enjoy reading it, sir," she said.

"My faith? But are you not a Christian then? God is all-powerful and all loving. He gave us his son to walk among us and then to die for our sins. Wasn't that wonderful?"
Her face was alit with joy. It was plain that she believed in her God.
