Ok guys, just waiting on Tristram now. It will probably have to be rolled tomorrow evening my time now as I will be in lectures for most of tomorrow and won't have time before I leave the house.

Round 1
Actions:
Dina tries to get through the men to threaten the queen. She manages it but the queen is alert so they will have to fight.
Merlin casts his spell to take the knives from the hands of the two girls. The knife falls from the hand of the brunette and hits one of the men in the hall. The second spell fails and the knife just falls to the floor from the hand of the fallen blonde who is too weak to join the fight. A man is now wounded.
Arthur engages the man in the arena in combat, while Tristram, Dinadan and Gawain engage other men.
The brunette girl grabs the fallen knife and launches herself at one of the men nearby.
The fights will be rolled and posted separately for each character.
Merlin must choose his next action. There are currently 7 men not in combat.

Round 2
Dina vs Queen Aelgifu
The wicked Saxon queen pulls a dagger from her belt and slashes at Dina. There isn't time or space for the young girl to use her bow so she parries the queen's attack with the blade given her by Gawain. (No wounds)
Arthur vs Arena Man
When Arthur runs forward to attack the man in the arena, he slips on a pool of blood. Though he doesn't fall, his balance falters. The big Saxon grabs an axe from the floor and slams it down into Arthur's shoulder. The young king yells in pain. (Heavy wound to Arthur)
Tristram vs Man 1
Tristram chooses a big burly man to make his target. But big men aren't always as strong as they seem, or at least Tristram is faster. He deals the man a nasty blow to the leg. Since the man is not wearing armour, the blade goes in easily and blood flows all around. Tristram wrenches out the blade. (Heavy wound to Man 1)
Dinadan vs Man 7
Dinadan races after Tristram as he engages in combat. A man attacks him, this one slimmer than Tristram's opponent, but equally slow. Dinadan ducks under the blade and catches the man in the side, giving him a painful wound. (Heavy wound to Man 7)
Gawain vs Man 4
Gawain positions himself behind Dina as she heads for the throne, hoping to stop anyone getting near her while she deals with the queen. A man throws himself at Gawain, who soon regrets not wearing a helm as his cheek is split open by the man's seax.
Brunette vs Man 9
The naked woman was filled with anger and pain but even mad fury is no substitute for martial training. The woman is dealt a heavy blow to her shoulder with the flat of an axe (apparently her opponent doesn't want to strike her with the blade but the blow is excruciating nonetheless) and she staggers back in pain.

Round 3
Dina vs Queen Aelgifu
Dina isn't used to fighting with knives but it seems she has beginner's luck. She jabs the queen heavily in the thigh and makes her scream. Blood wells around the woman's dress. (Heavy wound to the Queen)
Arthur vs Man 2
Blood drips down Arthur's armour but it seems not to stop him as Merlin's act spurs him on. He rushes at another of the men and cuts him in the arm, bared under his sleeveless leather jerkin. (Average wound to Man 2)
Tristram vs Man 1
Tristram and his opponent trade blows several times but to no avail. Neither can hit the other, though they try hard and steel rings off steel often. (No wounds) Dinadan vs Man 7
In a spectacular feat of swordsmanship, Dinadan performs a serious of attacks that culimnate in a strike to the neck. His blade cuts neatly through the Saxon's neck and the head sails merrily through the air, dripping blood, to smack into the wall. while the corpse simply flops to the floor. The head bounces and hits the floor, a surprised expression on its face. (Heavy wound/mortal blow to Man 7)
Gawain vs Man 4
Gawain and his opponent slash and parry at one another until Gawain spins around and cuts the man on the back of his thigh. Blood spurts and the man curses, wheeling round to parry a high cut from Gawain. (Average wound to Man 4)
Brunette vs Man 9
The dark-haired girl is coping surprisingly well. She jabs at her opponent and almost manages to strike him, but not quite. (No wounds)

I would like Merlin's next action please. I would ideally prefer him to attack the people not directly engaged with a PC is possible. We currently have:
2 Saxons enchanted to help us. 4 Saxons fighting them
I am not rolling for the latter, only PCs and relevant NPCs. Dinadan will be getting a new opponent next round

Dinadan stood still for a moment, just as surprised as the dead man with his swordsmanship. Where did that come from? Dinadan wondered before looking around for a nearby opponent. He saw the dark haired girl jabbing incompetently at a saxon.
"Not brave enough to fight a man, you Saxon dog?" He call out, trying to fight his way over to help the lady. He hated the idea of abandoning Tristram, but it seemed the lady was more in need of his help than his friend.
(Change action from protecting Tristram to protecting the lady if next opponent is defeated)
