"That's not what I meant," Morgan insisted. "I meant that the location is a place where the power of the world around us can be more naturally harnessed."

Mark's face tightened at his cousin's presumption of his question to her. He waved a hand dismissively.
"You wrong me Morgan. Your assumption that I am displeased at your request is misplaced. You are free to explore the caves of Cornwall as you please."

"That is good. Thank you. I apologise for the misunderstanding. Have you any thoughts on where else we might search?"

Mark sat back in his chair, mollified. He shook his head.
"Unfortunately I know next to nothing about the lore of the Thirteen, so I am unable to help you in this regard."
He turned his head to whisper something to Dinas, then returned his attention back to Morgan.
"If you and your party are ready, my squire will show you to your quarters. There will be a welcoming feast tonight in your honor as befits the daughter of Gorlois. You may start your explorations tomorrow."

Morgan smiled sweetly.
"Of course. We thank you, Cousin Mark, for your gracious welcome. Would you care to join us while we are in Cornwall, or do your duties keep you busy here at Tintagel?"

Mark shook his head. "Unfortunately the burdens of a King keep me here in Tintagel."

"Of course. But you are welcome should you change your mind. If you like, we could come back and tell you of our adventures on the way home," Morgan suggested.

"Certainly." replied Mark. "You should find the people of Cornwall friendly and welcoming, especially for a daughter of Gorlois."

"I am sure I will," Morgan agreed. "The people loved my father, I know. And my mother too. I never doubted that my companions and I would be made welcome."

"Indeed." replied Mark. "Now Dinas will show you to your chambers." he said with a wave of his hand.
