"Truly? I would say difficult rather than impossible, but you wish an end to loving two at one, is that not so?" Morgause asked.

Dina nodded, looking confused.
"O really do."

"So drink the potion, my dear. It will stop you feeling as you do, I promise. And then you will be free to love Gawain as he deserves."

Dina looked at it again and unstop erred the bottle to smell the potion.

The potion didn't really smell of anything much. There was just a hint of something that might have been a herb of some kind, but it was otherwise fairly neutral. The colour was a clear green so pale it was barely green at all.

Dina gave the slightest of smiles

"If you like, I could be with you while you drink it," Morgause offered.

Dina nodded slowly.
"Would that be too much trouble for you?"

"Not at all. I've no particular need to be elsewhere. I would be happy to stay if it would make you happier."

Dina gave her a grateful smile
She looked at the potion again and sighed.
"Can't think of a reason not to do it now." she muttered.

Dina shrugged, smiled and drank the potion in one swallow

It had no immediate effect upon her, beyond a slightly bitter taste.
"May I suggest you go lie down?"

Dina pulled a face at the taste and did as she was told.
"Please stay Lady Morgause." She said

Morgause stayed in her seat. Dina began to feel very slightly lightheaded but not in an unpleasant way. In all other ways she felt fine. There was no nausea, no pain.
"Perhaps you should get some sleep?" Morgause suggested.
