"I am neither of those, I am but a humble Druid." Urias says trying to reassure the man.

"A druid has magic too," the man observed. "Yet why travel with a wild beast who could easily tear you apart with its claws if it chose to? How can I trust such a creature?"

"I will not say that this Bear has been an any way trained, but neither is he wild. He has chosen to accompany me on my travels as a friend and as a protector." Urias tells the man.

"Fine. You can sit at the fire. The bear can be close by but not near me. I don't trust wild beasts."
Urias could tell that the man was genuinely nervous about Bearic's presence.
*At least he's frightened of me* Bearic observed.

*Indeed, Now would be a good time to go hunting and satisfy your hunger. Stay away from the mans dinner though.* Urias tells the bear. "Thank you kind Sir, and the bear will not come close to you or your dinner."

"Best see that he doesn't, or he'll be a dead bear."
Bearic growled.
*A brave fool, but you are right. I will eat.*
He trotted away.
"Have a seat," the man offered, as he continued to cook his meal.
"What are you doing here? If I may ask."

Urias speaks up as he takes a seat on a log across from the man, "I would advise again'st insulting or threatening him, the last man who did so soon found himself lacking a hand. And I am travelling."

"But it is a bear. How can a bear understand the speech of men?" The knight wondered. "I've never heard of a wild beast who could do so. Even most dogs and horses only understand a little."

"It is all about tone of voice for the most part. But animals can always understand more then you think. They usually do not know what you mean when you say those things, Him on the other hand has learned to put things together through mind-speech." Tells the knight.

The knightly simply gaped.
"Now I know all druids are mad," he said. "I have never heard such a thing. What about horses?"

Urias thinks for a moment, "I keep the company of a Bear." He points out, "Horses tend to keep away from me. Though there was this dead one once, but that is a different story." Urias says keeping himself from rambling away.

The knight seemed confused.
"A dead horse spoke to you, man? Is that what you mean?"

"Well he did not try and talk to me, only did not try and keep his distance." Urias says explaining his comment. "He was trying to attack me."

"I don't understand how that's possible," the man grumbled. "Is this some tale meant to frighten me?"

"On the contrary, this tale is to try to educate you. Why would I have any reason to try to frighten you Sir?" Urias says asking the next question.
