Arthur, Morgan, Viviane and the others arrived. While Viviane spoke to the ferryman, Arthur turned to his followers.
"Here we are, everyone! Please remember that this is Lady Viviane's home and we are her guests. Does anyone have any questions before we enter the boat?"

Taliesin shook his head. He enjoyed the company of the druids, and doubted that he could do anything to angry such a level-headed people.

Morgan leaned close to the bard and whispered "You should offer to play for the druids when we reach Avalon. It would be a fitting way to honour them."

"Aye, milady. It would be my pleasure." Taliesin had the intention of playing for the folk of the island of Avalon beforehand, yet he would not have told such a thing to Lady Morgana.

"Good. I think the druids would appreciate your magic. You might even play for the King and Queen of the Fay when we reach their lands. Are you looking forward to this?"

"I always look forward to entertaining new people." Taliesin daydreamed briefly about playing for the king and queen of the Fay, but quickly snapped himself back to reality.

"Good. It's always good for a bard to seek new audiences. And it's the least we can do for our hosts. You will be able to write many fine songs of our quest."
Merewyn was a little distance behind, whispering with one of her friends

Galahad gave the ferryman a curt nod. It had been a long time since he had last seen him, or for that matter Avalon itself.

Taliesin looked back over his shoulder to spy Merewyn and offered a rougish smile.

Merewyn blushed and giggled at Taliesin looked at her. She winked at him with a smile that promised further delights before they were parted.

Dindrane was close to her brother and looked a little nervous. This was the first she had even thought of going to Avalon and was a mixture of excited and scared.
She offered a small smile to the ferryman.

Lancelot was right behind Dindrane as they entered the boat. "It is all right to be nervous, it is just water." He said to her with a smile, though in truth he was saying it to reassure himself, "Hardly anyone ever drowns these days."

Dina gave him a smile.
"It is not that that I am nervous about Sir." She confided in a whisper. "I simply have never visited this land and was told as a child that those living here were of the most beautiful in the land."

"Most beautiful?" Lancelot echoed and smiled, "Avalon is very pleasant, life has never been as good to me as it was in the years I spent there," he replied, "And on any account, I do not think we shall be staying long, so if you find it not to your taste, which I would think impossible, you shall not need to put up with it for long." He said and looked to the water and the side and looked back to her quickly and then gave her a charming smile. "And if the most beautiful people live there, a beauty such as yourself shall seem to have been born there."
