After leaving the kingdom of the Fay, and Avalon, Morgan gathered her companions together as they prepared to set out for Cornwall.

Galahad was present, some distance away from Morgan.
(OOC: So has Dinadan joined this group as well?)

OOC - no, I put him and Tristram in the other group to maximise your opportunities as you have both PCs on the quest

OOC - no, Arthur's group is going to Cambernic. If I said both groups are going to Cornwall at some point I probably just confused the 2

After a while, when Morgan's group was on the road west, Morgan summoned Galahad to her.
"Greetings, Sir Galahad. I hoped you might be able to scout ahead for us? Somebody must and I think you would be a good candidate, if you are willing."

"Yes, I suppose I could do that." Galahad said hesitantly, wondering what made him a suitable scout as opposed to the others. He wasn't about to question Morgan's decision however as he did not particularly enjoy the company of his companions.

"Ah good. I wnat you to go ahead and let us know if there is any trouble. I've heard reports there may be bandits in this area and I'd rather not have to fight them."

"Do you want me to dispose of them for you?" Galahad asked unsure of what other ways there were to avoid confrontation with bandits.

"If they find you, do what you must to protect yourself. But the main aim is to determine how many of them there are and whether we might avoid them entirely. If the reports are true, that is. I want no bloodshed that is not necessary, though I'll admit the bandits deserve to die," she said. "If we must fight them, let us be prepared."

"You mean to say you intend to allow them to continue their activities unmolested?" Galahad asked aghast. "Why surely it is our duty as knights and subjects of Arthur to dispatch of such men!"

"Perhaps it is," Morgan said after a momnt's thought. "But it is my responsibility to make sure none of us get into more danger than we can help. We have already lost Sir Dagonet due to his own folly. i don't want to lose anyone else. So...we need to know if the bandits are truly in the area, and, if so, how many men they have. It would be unfortunate if we had to let them continue but our own quest is our priority. I am not going to let us all get killed in a fight we can't win. So we need information first."

"I suppose our quest of the greatest import." Galahad conceded. "I will return as soon as possible."

Gods go with you Morgan almost said, but restrained herself just in time.
"Keep safe, Sir Galahad," she said instead. "Don't do anything reckless. I'm counting on you."
