"well, perhaps Pagan would be even better than Christian scholars in this instance." Lancelot said, and decided to go on before Galahad could interrupt. "That is to say, only because this country has not had christianity for that long, and one could assume that these relics have been here considerably longer. A Pagan scholar may have knowledge about such things that a Christian one may not, but undoubtedly both would be useful, besides, druids know the land, and do not stay cooped up in their little stony walls."

"Oh congratulations." Galahad replied sarcastically. "Your scholars run about the wilderness like savages, while Christian scholars engage in scholarly activities. I can see why you are so proud of your faith."

"Please, don't fight," Morgan said, pressing a hand to her head in frustration. "There are many kinds of knowledge to be had in the world. Druidic wisdom is more often passed through by word of mouth than recorded in books, as Christian wisdom is. Druids are attuned to nature, Christians are more...scholarly, I suppose. But we need to find whatever we can."

Galahad snorted.
"I don't see how being attuned to nature is at all useful to us, but do what you wish, you are in charge." He said derisively.

Morgan's fist clenched.
"You say that because you cannot understand, sir! Can you do this?"
She flung out her hand, palm open, towards Galahad. Water came from somewhere and drenched him from head to foot. Morgan smiled in triumph.
"Or this?"
She waved her hand again and Galahad's sword flew from his scabbard and towards her, hilt first. She caught it neatly and pointed it at his throat.
"I would advise you to treat me with courtesy, sir."

Galahad glared at her, water dripping from his hair onto his face.
"Am I supposed to be impressed by that?" he asked angrily. "If we fought, Lady Morgan, we both know what the result would be. Fortunately I have a level of control over my emotions that you have just shown you lack. Hardly surprising for a pagan, but for someone responsible for others one would hope for better. I'm sure you appreciate that if you were a man, I would fight you, but it is unchivalrous to fight ladies, even poor excuses for ladies like yourself."
With that he turned his back to her and walked out of the room, taking care to tread on his brothers toes as he passed him.

Morgan watched Galahad go.
"Insufferable man!" She cried. "Just...insufferable! Why am I obliged to put up with his insults to my faith when I have tried so hard to be tolerant of his own? I do not hate Christians. I never have. Disagreeing with them is not the same as disliking them. If I were not a gentlewoman I would teach him a lesson he would not soon forget! I meant only to give him a warning to treat me with more courtesy."
She sighed and looked at Lancelot.
"Go after him, if you will. He is your brother and I dare not go after him myself."

Lancelot was not sure exactly what he had done wrong in all of that, but had just kept looking ahead during their fight until Galahad had trod on him.
He didn't think he was the best person to go and talk to him, but he sighed anyway and got up from his chair to follow him out.

Once outside he went and located a towel quickly and then went to the room Galahad was staying in. He stopped himself from just walking straight in, and knocked, deciding that was the better approach.

"Go away!" Galahad yelled sulkily. He wasn't sure who it was, but was certain that they had come to bother him.

Lancelot pouted and knocked again, not going to be ignored, but not wanting to incense his brother more.

"Whoever you are go away." Galahad yelled. "I'm busy...doing things."

Lancelot didn't think that sounded very christian and had to keep in a snigger, "Galahad, It's lancelot. Open the door." he said and leaned with his back towards the frame.

"Lancelot? Why would I want to talk to you?" Galahad replied, albeit slightly less aggressively. "In any case I'm in no state to talk to anyone right now, I'm far to angry."

"I imagine so." Lancelot said with a scowl. "But Lady Morgan sent me to apologise to you for her... she knows she acted out of order. Women do strange things in the middle of madness." Lancelot said, scowling as he said it.

"So do pagans." Galahad muttered to himself.
"Why did she send you?" he called back. "I'm not important enough to be apologized to by her?"
