Iseult approached the balcony above where the knights trained as discussed earlier with Seren in tow. It had not been particularly difficult to persuade Seren to come with her, and had not taken long to explain what was asked of her.

The knights were already starting to arrive when the girls reached Sir Ector. He smiled at the two girls.
"Welcome," he said. "We will get this done as swiftly as we can. Lady Iseult, I call upon you as witness here to confirm what will be said and done."

"That is why I am here." Iseult said with a smile, and a nod of encouragement to Seren, "do you remember what I said you need to do?"

Seren nodded.
"I am to point out the man who forced me."
"And here they come now," Sir Ector said.
They watched the knights finish filing in. They were armoured, with coloured surcoats over the top, but none wore a helm, so the girls could get a good look at their faces. Some were young, some older. Some were handsome, some ugly, most somewhere in between. Seren scanned their faces for what seemed a long time and then she pointed.
"There!"
Sure enough, the man she pointed at was just as she had described to Iseult earlier. It was impossible to miss him. He was one of the tallest men present and his surcoat was bright red with a falcon as the emblem.
"Sir Meliagaunt," Sir Ector sighed. "There is no doubt. There will have to be a trial. You have noted the man, Lady Iseult?"

Iseult shook her head sadly, accused was not yet guilty, but Iseult believed Seren what she said, and the druid girl had received no prompting from either her or Sir Ector. ISeult made a note of the man and nodded to Sir Ector. "I have... I am sorry." she said, with a sad frown.

"There will be a trial then," Sir Ector said unhappily. "Old friend or no, I cannot allow rape to be unpunished. Ladies, you will come to me in the throne room two hours hence."

Iseult nodded, not sure what to say to Sir Ector, feeling a little in over her head all of a sudden, but turned and put her arm around Serren's shoulders comfortingly, "will you be alright in the court?" she asked.

Seren nodded.
"I have to do it, or he might do it again to one of my friends. He..he laughed after and said it was what druid girls deserved. I could not bear for one of the others to be treated like that."

"hopefully he shall get what he deserves." Iseult said, and squeezed Serren's shoulder, she was not sure what the price was for a rapist, but she knew trials could be long, "we can wait in my room until two hours is up if you wish?"

"Yes, plesae. I would like to wash my face and brush my hair if I may. I must be calm and dignified before the Court. Viviane would wish it. I pray she never finds out because I don't know what she would do if she did. She is fierce in defence of us all."

"I imagine she is," Iseult said with a smile leading Serren out after turning her head to smile and nod at Sir Ector, "perhaps it would have been better if she was here, she could make quick work of it. Hopefully it can be dealt with though."

"It will be," Sir Ector promised. "One way or the other. Rape will not be permitted in Camelot, nor any other place that falls under Arthur's dominion. And at least this way, no man can say the druids have been granted special favours, as would be the case if the Lady Viviane were to sit in judgement."
