Round 1
Arthur yells at Merlin and Rowena to guard the prisoners while he and Gawain make for the second wolf.
Meanwhile, Dina shoots the first wolf and her arrow grazes its leg. It launches itself snarling at the two Cornish knights. Tristram misses but Dinadan's sword deals the wolf a nasty blow, cutting deep into its side. Blood pours out. (Heavy hit to Wolf 1).
Meanwhile, Arthur's half-healed wouns slow him down as he fails to strike his own wolf. Gawain darts in and slashes into the wolf's tail. The wolf howls as its tail is severed. (Heavy hit to Wolf 2).

Round 2
Dina's arrow flies true this time and embeds itself deep in the wolf's leg, giving it a major limp.
With the wolf injured, it collapses on its side and is ill-equipped to defend itself from the knights as they both falls all upon it. A pair of quick slashes, one to its throat and the other through its heart and the wolf is dead. Blood pools around the corpse. (Wolf 1 is dead)
Meanwhile, Arthur and Gawain continue to fight their wolf. Gawain carves a blood furrow in its side, a huge chunk of bloody flesh falling free, while Arthur cuts its shoulder. (Heavy hit and average hit to Wolf 2).
Another snarl is heard across the clearing and a new wolf, near twice the size of the one just killed, launches itself at Dinadan and Tristram.

Round 3
Dina fails to hit the big wolf. Tristram and Dinadan likewise fail but the wolf can't strike them either.
Arthur and Gawain cut down their wolf. Mercifully there are no more wolves coming at them so they can all fight the big wolf together.

Merlin's spell succeeds and he casts a ring around the prisoners, high enough to deter the wolves but not enough to harm the Saxons. The woman, however, is not impressed. She screams and begs to be let loose from her bonds. Rowena spits on the ground in contempt and goes back to watching the fight.
Everyone gears up to fight the big wolf together.

Merlin's spell succeeds. This time the wolf will have to endure a round in which it may not inflict damage upon any of the knights. A bonus will also be given to the knights (temporarily) to increase their chances of striking.
Dina grazes the wolf's flesh with her bow. (Minor wound to wolf).

With the wolf trapped and howling in pain, the knights try to strike it through the thorns. Arthur can't hack through a particularly tough bit of the thorns but the others all strike blows. Gawain cuts a furrow in the wolf's face while Tristram and Dinadan gouge its side. (1 minor wound and 2 average wounds to wolf).
