Round 6
Merlin manages to maintain his thorny prison for the wolf but though the bush holds the wolf within its grasp and shows no sign of weakening, the effort of trying to manipulate a particular section at the same time is too much and the thorn does the wolf no damage as it falls away from its neck.
Dina attempts to shoot the wolf but her arrow embeds itself instead in one of the thorns.
The knights attack. They will receive the same bonus as before and the wolf is again incapable of attacking.

The big wolf is bleeding in several places now. It bares its teeth and snarls as the knights attack. Arthur and GAwain don't manage to land blows but Dinadan and Tristram do. Dinadan lops off the wolf's ear while Tristram cuts its leg. (2 minor wounds to wolf).

Merlin manages to keep up his thorny prison. The wolf is still trapped and can only defend. Dina this time manages to aim her bow just right and she shoots the wolf in the thigh. It lets out a cry of agony. (Heavy wound to wolf)
The knights close in still further and strike. Arthur still fails to harm the wolf, but the other three all strike hard. The thornbush turns red with blood, as does the wolf's hide. In the flurry of blades, any of the attacks could be fatal but it looks like Tristram has dealt the death blow.
The wolf is dead.
