I just haven't really seen anywhere that it would make sense to post; Dinadan is hardly going to interrupt Arthur and Dina's conversation, and I am the only one who has posted in Morgan's group.

Hallewes is correct, Galahad, we couldn't really do anything else so we were just having Dina, Arthur and Gawain chat a bit. Feel free to jump in if you like. My problem is that I can only tag the people who post. As a lot of people aren't about it's difficult and kinda pointless for me to address the groups as a whole when I know the majority of them won't give me a response. I've tried that on several occasions and it's gone less well than I'd hoped. When people say they are busy I could work around that and let them go into the background for a while but I feel that a few people may have just given up. I have no way of knowing which is which unless they say so. It also means there is hardly anyone available to move the story on. Also bear in mind that on the Westeros games I'm usually I'm one of the active players who is keen to push the story onwards, which I feel a RP needs, but as I'm the admin here I can't fulfil that role as a player. Unfortunately I don't know who's still interested and who's not which means I can't really do anything to move us on since I based the next stage of the game on quest groups. My only options are to sit in limbo or else think of a way to plan the whole thing differently. It does seem like the large quest groups thing isn't going to work. If I can work out who still wants to play I may have to realign the quest groups or just have one group.

I'd at least give it til the end of the month before you make any major decisions like that. That way we see how many come back after the holidays. Didn't activity drop during Christmas time in LOW and Bloodgrove?
And there are five pretty active people by my count. Since each of them have 2 characters, that's not bad.

Yeah, I will see what happens in the New Year and let things go extra slowly until then. You're right that RPs are usually slower during holidays so yeah, I was planning to leave things as they are for a bit. I just don't want to put off the people who do want to do stuff.

Well the majority of those still active are off from the main group anyways so we can still do our own thing. I'll just bench Merlin for a bit. Ironside, Hallewes, Mark, and Urias can still have their own little side adventures.
It's actually lucky that 3 of those active (Hallewes, Urias, and Ironside) are all in the same place

Yeah. That's part of the reason I got Urias on that one. As well as the fact that it fitted in nicely with his first quest.
I think we will have to move you guys to the public board shortly. It's not fair that you get to read Urias at this point and he doesn't know what you're up to. I could put him in a private board, I suppose, but you'll run across each other at some stage anyway.

A note for Galahad and of course for anyone else who wants to do something but feels they can't at present:
Let me know you want to post and I will send you off to scout ahead of your group or something so you can have a mini-adventure while things settle down with the majority.

Haha! And here I am trying to be kind to you.
No, Merlin, it's still passworded. I never did figure out how to do the group board without passwords. I will make you guys a new public board once I've spoken to Hallewes.

If you could send Galahad on a mini quest that would be great.

Hey guys, back on my bandwagon again!
I am starting to get concerned once more that the decreased player base from when I originally set up is going to give us problems so I am wondering if I ought to make changes still further.
I obviously want everyone to be able to RP with someone besides me, because that gives you more options, but I know that's not always possible. So...my question is, are the quest groups working for everyone? Do they need changing? I know sometimes players are more active than others so I worry that people get left out when they are less active and then the more active people may feel they are slowed down. I just want everyone to be happy and able to do stuff so please do let me know what works and what doesn't.
This is a question specifically for those players whose characters are off alone i.e. Iseult and Mark. I don't want those characters to be left out, do you want to link in with the quest plots more, or do you want to work with me to give you something more plot based to do?

Only 2 PCs seems a bit low for Morgans group, although I do understand that we do not have as many people as was anticipated...

Yeah, I know. You were supposed to have 4-5 PCs but it's pretty clear now the others won't be showing up. Unfortunately I am cursed with the desire to believe people when they say they will commit to RP. I did my best to even the groups out fairly and it's backfired... Unfortunately I think we are now stuck with it unless we were to somehow combine the groups via magical means but that seems like cheating!
Mark is of course welcome to tag along with Morgan's grouup if he so desires. I'd suggest the same with Iseult because I know it's harder for her to find stuff to do when the people who should have been at Camelot have likewise abandoned us but I don't think it would be fair to put both her characters in the same group. That's why I put Dinadan and Galahad in opposing groups.
