Yes, having both characters in the same group wouldn't really be as fun...

Having your characters talk to each other is annoying, believe me! An admin has to do it from time to time but it's best kept to a minimum.

You have already probably thought of this idea, but just thought I'd offer it up in case you haven't. I know it's not ideal but it could work...
You mentioned there being a lack of characters at Camelot. While it seems like the chances of attracting new players are low, perhaps some of us could take on a third character? That would create a couple more pcs at camelot, Dina and Merlin could have the option of adding characters to Morgan's quest group, and iseult could add a character in Scotland or with Arthur. Obviously playing three characters is not ideal, and is perhaps something that people would not want to do, but it would create more opportunities for Roleplay.

That's a fair point and one I hadn't considered yet. 3 characters were the norm on some of the older Westeros games but I picked 2 because I know sometimes people will make 3 characters and only use 2, whereas as we've seen from Bloodgrove, 1 character can be too restrictive at times. The other consideration is that I wouldn't want to slow Bloodgrove down still further.
I'd be ok with it if other people want to do this. I've added a poll to this thread so we can see if anyone else is interested.

I'd be interested. Playing an enemy of Arthur maybe. For example playing one of the Saxon kings such as Aelle, Cerdic or Hengest appeals. Might add a bit of politics and intrigue to the site.
The other alternative might be to play a completely fictional knight, lower on the social strata that one of the traditional companions of Arthur.

I quite like the Saxon idea but it would be tough because there would be a conflict of interest with the existing characters. I'd have to confine everyone to a single Saxon kingdom though because having everyone rule a separate kingdom would be too much for me to handle when I have so much uni work coming up in the next 2 months. My stupid uni has decided to give us 2 essays that are due before the dissertation and that's only a matter of weeks away. And I haven't done as much work on that as I should have...
I'm not sold on the fictional knights, if only because we have a fair few knight characters already. I would be ok with reassigning the characters of those who dropped out though, and there are still some people in the old character reservation list who could be used.
The priority is to keep things going with what we have so far, though I'm willing to consider adding new things as long as its managable.
I'd like the other people who still want to play to vote though - Iseult, Hallewes, Ironside, maybe Urias (not too sure about him).

If this idea is implemented, I was thinking of playing a Welsh character (We seem to have characters from everywhere but Wales) who comes to Camelot for help. Culhwch perhaps? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culhwch_and_Olwen

I'd have no problem with that. Even though I can't remember where I read the boar story and it's bugging me now!

Haha even though I haven't done the best with managing both my characters, I wouldn't mind having some more villains introduced. Would give Ironside and Hallewes more people to interact with. And I did give Ironside a nice history with some of the Saxon kings. Cerdic, Cerdig, and Cynric I believe were the ones I named but no reason he wouldn't be familiar with any of the ones that fought against Uther.

Manage better But ok, I will keep it in mind. If I do this, I'd like you guys to RP with each other more as well as with me. As I said before, I'm starting to worry about uni work so more characters would have to either wait a while yet, or be more linked to PC+PC RP. So, I'll allow it if you all promise to talk to each other more.

Ok, I hate to say it but it looks like we will have to give up on this. There's been hardly any activity over recent days and with the advent of Doom of Westeros (which I know everyone who stuck with me is on) I get the feeling it will take up everyone's RP time. So unless things pick up by Monday I will have to close the site.

I can't help but to feel this was pointedly directed.

Haha. Don't worry, Iseult, I know you had your presentation to worry about and there's others who are surprisingly inactive at the moment. But I do get a strong feeling that everyone is generally less interested than they were even a few weeks ago.
