I don't want to make an elaborate list of game rules because I want to maintan a fun atmosphere for us all but I would ask that all players be courteous to each other.
If you have an issue with how another player is playing the game, you can try to resolve it with them if appropriate, or else bring it to my attention and I'll help deal with it.
I would like to emphasise the community spirit which has so often been one of my favourite aspects of the RP sites I've played on. I hope that will be the case here so I want the players to feel they a voice in the development of the site. If you have any ideas that you feel would improve the site, please let me know via PM or by chat once I have set that up.

You make no mention of the mechanics of magic that you've been talking about including. What is the point of playing a sorcerer, what governs what they can and cannot do?

I'm working on that. To a point it will work similarly to combat if there's a wizard's duel, for example, so I'd roll the 2 participants against each other.
If the wizard or druid wants to cast a spell, I would set a difficulty level based on whatever it is they wished to do and they would have to make the roll. What I will try to do within the next few days is list an example of things that a sorceror or druid might be able to do given their specific skill level.
I have specified Enchantment as the main magical skill for sorcerors and Elemental Magic for Druids, it will depend on whether they have the knowledge to perform certain spells certain skills. So, a sorceror's powers focus more on people and objects, a druid's on the natural world.
For example, a druid would automatically have the ability to light a campfire (Beginner skill) whereas if he is especially powerful he could set a whole town alight at once (Grandmaster skill).
Meanwhile, a sorceror would be able to levitate objects (beginner skill) and an example of a high level skill would be able to enchant another person to murder someone (Grandmaster skill).
In terms of taking over another character's mind, whether by enchantment or a social skill, there would have to be a roll to determine success. This would again depend on difficulty level if a PC is trying to enchant/persuade a NPC. If it's PC vs PC or NPC vs PC, it would be rolled against the PC's endurance level.

I have been reminded of something else I meant to say. It seems that part of the Proboards terms and conditions is that explicit sexual content may not be posted because the forums are a 13 rating and that can't be changed to reflect the ages of the actual members. So we can't have any such content on the site or I will get into trouble with Proboards.
My suggestion is, if your character gets into a situation of that nature, post on the boards to a "fade to black" type scenario and then if you want to, continue the scene via PM with the other person so it doesn't appear on the boards.

Shouldn't be a problem for any of the christian characters. Remember, premarital sex, adultery, and other forms of un-christian carnal acts were a quick way to get discommunicated. You pagans have fun

Apparently it's in the terms and conditions you accept when you sign up and always has been, but who reads online terms and conditions? It seems they have been cracking down on it recently whereas they weren't before. A number of old boards have been taken offline because the admins have received notification to remove explicit content but haven't bothered because the sites are now dead.

Adultery on the other hand was a death sentence.

Gusy, another note.
I am happy to roll things because that's the point of skills but I ask you not to go overboard. For example, I don't want you to Observe the room you're standing in every time you post in a conversation, and the same with Persuasion, you should allow the RP to speak for itself and have the rolls to supplement the RP, not substitute.
