"I like everyone that has come here, they're all good people,"Iseult said with a smile as she looked round some of the people who were travelling near them.

"No, Melodias is the King of Lyonesse." Dinadan replied. "King Mark is solely the ruler of Cornwall. Are the brothers Lancelot and Galahad not of Avalon? Do you know them?" //// "That sounds like a sound plan, your highness." Galahad replied. "Who do you have in mind as potential rulers?" "Yes, I know them," Seren answered Dinadan. "I mean, I don't know them, exactly. But I know their mother, the Lady Viviane. I expect you already knew that he rules at Avalon, if you know her sons. A good woman, kind and intelligent. I would love to be like her when I'm older." //////// "I'm not sure yet," Arthur admitted. "Perhaps yourself and your brother. Would you be willing to take on such responsibility, Galahad?" //////// Gawain saw Dina looking at him and gave her a charming grin, after which he tossed his hair and blew her a kiss.

"Are you a Druid, Seren?" Dinadan asked. "I mean, that is to say, can you do magic?"
/////
"I will do whatever you ask of me, your highness." Galahad replied. "As long as it is in accordance with my values."

"Yes," said Seren. "Viviane is a hundred times more skilled than me but I've completed my full training. I'm not as talented as some of the others who were novices at the same time as me, but I'm not among the worst, either. Would you like to see?"
///////////
"I would never deliberately ask you to forsake your values," Arthur vowed. "You'd be able to help the church a lot more if you had your own lands, though. Maybe found some monasteries and convents if you liked.."

Galahad nodded. "That is true. Would Lancelot and I be ruling together though? That mightn't work all that well, we do have a tendency to disagree on things."
////
"I would love to." Dinadan grinned. "I've never seen magic before."

Arthur burst out laughing at Galahad's question.
"Of course not! I couldn't allow that. I'd give you a kingdom each, at the furthest ends of my realm," Arthur teased. "I couldn't have two of my dearest friends arguing with one another."

"Ah, yes, that is good to hear." Galahad conceded. "If we were together things mightn't be as efficient as they should."

"I was thinking that," Arthur agreed. "But I'm pleased you have no objection. I need men I can trust to lead the kingdoms we will take back from the invaders."
///////////
Meanwhile, Seren smiled brightly at Dinadan.
"What sort of magic would you like? Would you like me to light a fire with my mind, control wind or water or earth? We druids learn to make the elements do our bidding."

"Yes, I would be happy to serve you in that regard." Galahad said, allowing the beginnings of a smile to appear on his face.
////
"I don't think it's fair for me to tell you what to do." Dinadan replied. "You are the one doing the magic after all."

"Would the two of you like to be left alone?" Iseult asked with a grin, as they rode on.

Dina looked startled
"No, Lady Iseult. I am sorry." She said. "You must think I am a terribly rude person."

"Worry not, it is lovely to see," Iseult said with a soft laugh, "If you would like to go and talk to him, I would not mind, please do not feel you need to keep me company."

Dina blushed again.
"No, it is fine I will speak with him later. Unless you wish to be alone?"

"Not at all, I would just hate to part two people who care for one another," Iseult said in a teasing voice.
