"Why would I stay here? Arthur and his men ride out, there's nothing but an empty castle. I would rather bring my wife to my seat.", he explained. "Show the people of Lothian what a beautiful queen I have. We might have to visit Orkney, though. "

"I wouldn't mind that, but we should be married first, don't you think? Although....it occurs to me that Arthur must leave someone here. He will probably ask Sir Ector but maybe I could concince him to name you as his regent instead, unless you especially want to be gone from Camelot?"

He was pleasantly shocked. "That is a good idea. There's nothing wrong with staying here. I simply despise being idle. But not long ago, Arthur and I were enemies. Do you think he would actually leave me in charge of his castle?"

Morgause smiled like a cat.
"If we are successful in persuading him, certainly. You are to be my husband and that makes you Arthur's ally. So if we marry swiftly there is no reason why we could not rule Camelot in Arthur's absence. You have sworn friendship with one another, haven't you? I mean, you would likely have to swear to be Arthur's liegeman as well as ally, but it would grant you power here in Camelot and that is all to the good."

"Good. Let's make it a Christian procedure- the swearing of allegiance, I mean. " Lot looked at his betrothed. "Strange, what paths the world might take." He rested his hands on his sides, then looked around. "I will have to see my sons, and be of a clear mind. My journey here was long." He took a deep breath, and paced down and up the room." Speak to Arthur. I am going to be in the gardens tomorrow. Meet me there."

"I will," she said. "I will try to speak to Arthur before he meets with his followers who are going to join him on his quest. Goodnight, my lord."

Post by Sir Lamorak / Diwrnach on Nov 1, 2011 16:20:23 GMT
The druid Gaius appropriated Diwrnach. "What do think of all this?" He asked. "It was a miracle, I don't deny it, but it all seems like young men - and a few women - with fire in their blood." "A miracle perhaps or a sign from the Gods. Perhaps it is a farce, the Gods may have wished to send them on a fool's errand to amuse themselves. They don't even know where to look. I have heard of numerous suspected locations." He looked about the room at those who indicated that they would look for the grail. "Of course they are young, too full of passion and fervor to realize what searching for this grail entails." He huffed

"I agree. I might have gone if I were thirty years younger but a man of my age knows there is a need for someone to stay at home and tend the wounded when they return. I do not doubt the vision we all saw, myself, but I would be a fool to go. If you have heard of the locations, my friend, perhaps you should go to Arthur at his meeting tomorrow, and present him with the knowledge you have? It would be much appreciated by our king, I know."

Sir Palomides leaps to his feet, and pumps a fist into the air, "I am with you."

Arthur grinned at Palomides.
"I will welcome your company," he said.
