Since he too was no longer needed, Gawain followed his betrothed. She felt his shadow fall over her before he seated himself beside her.
"What happened, Dina? I heard what the other lad said, but I don't understand how something so dangerous could have happened in your presence."

"I was stupid in front of him and he wanted to copy." She said dully.

"Yes, but it's dangerous and I don't want you to be hurt as that poor boy was. I don't want you to do it, Dina."

Dina sat up.
"If I cant do it then how will I ever get better?" She asked. "I have practised for years without lighting the heads. And since then every person that knows what I plan to do has told me that I am not to."

"It was an accident Gawain... It wasnt supposed to happen and I have been lucky not to have it happen to me." She said, her eyes filling with tears. "I feel bad for Uther I really do but... You do things as dangerous when you practise with your blade."
