Here is my guideline of the kind of things druids and sorcerors have the knowledge to achieve according to their level. They are by no means the only things they can do, just let me know in a scenario by scenario basis if you want to achieve something else, but I wanted to provide examples of the scale of magic in the game.
Sorcerors and druids may learn to use the magical abilities of each other's class but they must take begin with a lower level skill. More on that from me later when the skill system has been revised.
Elemental Magic (druid specialisation):
Legendary - shapeshift into another person or a mythical beast, fly upon the wind Grandmaster - cause mass destruction by fire, flood, earthquake or hurricane Master - shapeshift into an animal Expert - trap people in the roots and branches of trees Novice - communicate with animals Apprentice - scrying turn wine to water or water to wine Beginner - light a campfire
Enchantment (sorceror specialisation):
Legendary - enchant a flying object, kill a person by incantation, shapeshift into a mythical being Grandmaster - completely control another person's mind, shapeshift into another person Master - shapeshift into an animal Expert - change the properties of an inamimate object Novice - blast another person off their feet Apprentice - scrying, alter other person's mood in a small way i.e. make them happy or sad, friendly or hostile Beginner - levitate objects
