I don't. I just think it would be funny. I really love the idea of a famous king appearing out of nowhere having been in the kingdom of the fay. I may have to write something like that one day. Also, since I'm doing a module about Anglo-Saxon literature I brought a novel set in Alfred's time back with me to reread. Also, it fits very much with the whole myth of Arthur's return in Britain's time of trouble - in King Alfred's day it was the Danes who were the threat but in our setting the Saxons are themselves the threat!

I think King Arthur must be running around Dorset somewhere because apparently there was a sword in the stone on some roundabout but my dad said someone took it out! I'm gutted he never told me because I would have tried to take it!

How long do you have between lectures?

I'm not sure how long it will be in general. This week it was like an hour and 15 mins because it was just the introduction and they usually finish earlier, but I imagine next week will be more in depth. The lecturer said it would be longer but probably not fulfil the 3 hour block they allow. I have to go to a meeting with my dissertation supervisor next week anyway (and eat if there is time) so I shouldn't be bored next week! Plus I never had the chance to talk to the one person I actually know who is doing both modules because we were sitting at opposite ends of the room so if I can get to talk to her in future weeks that might help. Plus, you know, as the modules get further on there's more need to visit the library for reasons other than random internet timewasting! Edit - just going to eat and then I will catch up with tags and roll the fight

last semester I had one lecture at 11:12 that finished at 12.05 and then a wait until 4:15 for my other one to start. That was tough.

That sucks. Ok, going to finish the fight tomorrow. I already know how many rounds there will be because I rolled one important part already, but rolling fights is tiring work.

Galahad/Dinadan, I don't know if you've already picked up on this but if you are wondering why the lady is so persistent, do a Wiki search of "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" and you'll see the inspiration for this episode.

Thanks, I do enjoy putting in different elements of the stories in new ways! I really hope my internet settles down so I can roll the rest of the fight this afternoon!
