"Hut at the far end of the village," he said, gesturing. "He'll be there. You'll recognise him easy. Weasel-faced man with a fat wife and half a dozen brats."

"Thank you, kind gentlemen." Urias calls to the man as he heads towards the hut indicated.

When he got there, four children ranging in age from four to eleven were chasing each other outside the hut. Their clothes were torn and dirty, frayed and too small for them, yet they seemed happy enough as they played. The weasel-faced man sat outside the hut mending fishing nets.

Urias approaches the weasel-faced man, "I seek transportation for me and my companion to the Isle of Ynis Sci, I was told that you might be willing to take on the task." Urias tells him flat out.

"Oh aye, and who is your companion?" The man asked.
He didn't even look up from his net.

"It is a Bear." He says deciding to tell the man the truth about Bearic.

The man looked at him and then began to laugh.
"Don#t pull my leg. No bear would travel with a man."

"I am a druid, and yes I have a bear that travels with me as a companion." Urias tells the man wondering why he would laugh at that claim.

But the man had never seen a druid before and he gave Urias a very strange look.
"If you're a druid you surely don't need mortal help."

"Well, my companion is set on me not having to turn him into a bird to fly over to the island, so that leaves getting there by use of a boat. Can you help me?"

"Why would I do a thing like that?"
His voice was hostile and even a bit scared.

"After my business is done on the island, I will help you fish and get you as many fish as your boat will carry in payment. I do not think you would believe me even if I told you why I need to go to the island." Urias says.

"Ye, likely not. You're not like any man I ever met. Let me see this bear - from a distance - and I'll see if I can trust you with him. And if he fits in the boat."

"Then I believe you should accompany me, I would not want to frighten any of your children or the other villagers." Urias says as he heads to where they left Bearic.

The man followed. He didn't look happy but he seemed the kind of guy who rarely smiled anyway. Bearic was asleep beyond the village and didn't look threatening at this point.
"He's big. Is he tame?"
