"There are no wild creatures here." Urias says, *There is something odd about everything in this place, not just her. And I do not trust anything here, even her.*

"But...it's a forest," the girl said. "I don't like it here. It frightens me."
Bearic growled. If the girl noticed., she didn't react.

"It's a forest, and for that reason alone I know what goes inside of it. There is nothing but the sorcerer." He says with a slight edge.

The girl pulled at his robe. Her face was alight with desperation and she seemed terrified.
"Oh, please we have to go! I've changed my mind. It's too dangerous!"

"No." Urias says leaving it plain and simple, his face facing forward. "This must be done." He says turning slightly to look at her, he tries to cast a spell to get rid of some of the evil magic in the area to help settle her down.

Urias' spell is fairly successful and he clears a space where the corruption disappears, but it lingers further away. The girl seemed confused. She looked from Urias to the area where the corruption was still thick.
"How did you do that? Clear the air, I mean."
Bearic seemed to frown, if bears could frown. He turned to Urias.
*Get rid of her.*

*In a second.* Urias replies. "I believe you should take this time to make your way back to the shore. Fishermen should be out you could wave them down to come rescue you." He says to the girl.

"But please, I don't want to be left alone. Why are you trying to be rid of me?"
Her voice was plaintive and innocent.
"What have I done wrong? I'm just an innocent maiden and frightened."

"I feel that this road will only get more dangerous, you will be safer if you do not accompany us the rest of the way." Urias responds back to her.

The girl's face changed. Her eyes blazed an angry gold and as her fingers gripped his forearms, they seemed almost claws.
No! You shall not go to the sorceror's castle! You shall not!"

Urias smiles faintly. "So you show your true colors, I knew you where not a normal child." He says as he weaves a spell for roots to come up to entrap her up to her ankles so he can shake her off of him easier.

The Urias manages to cast the spell but it fails to entrap the girl, instead sliding past her ankles instead of wrapping around them. She smiled at him, her teeth slightly pointed and her expression wild. She flung herself at him and her clawed hands scratched at his body and she sought to bite him as well.

The strange woman falls unconscious with her legs trapped in vines. She is beautiful and looks innocent once more in her unconscious state. Bearic walked up and sniffed her.
*What is she? She doesn't smell like a human.*

*Well now you tell me.* Urias responds. *I wonder if this is the demon those villagers told me about.*

*Maybe. She smells like the forest but different. Like magic.*
There was a high-pitched scream from nowhere and then a woman clothed in a skimpy gown of leaves flew out of the forest and knelt by the unconscious woman. She had pale green skin and long wavy hair the colour of jade, approached and knelt by the unconscious woman. Her eyes were bright gold and her expression was tender. She was beautiful in a strange, inhuman way. Her ears were sharply pointed, he held a bronze knife in her hand which she brandished in front of herself, warning Urias and Bearic off.
"What have you done to my daughter?"
