The prisoner yelped as she tended his wounds.
"Hurt," he said. "Pretty lady."
Gawain grimaced and looked to Dinadan, though he hated the way the prisoner looked at Dina.
"I'd like nothing more than to kill the bastard," he said. "But I suppose we'd find out who he is, first. He's no Briton but that's no Pictish accent. We've had dealing with them on the borders of my father's lands. I wonder who sent him."

Dindrane tore another strip from her top and bound the wound.
"That will do for now but you both need looking at by a proper healer." she said to Gawain.

"But where are we going to find one of those?" Gawain asked. "The Lady Morgan is not with our party an dI don't know this area at all."

"I mean somebody with a basic knowledge of it. I am not great at it but it will hold for the time being."

"But we'll need a village for that," Gawain pointed out. "For now, let's find out who our prisoner is then move on."

"Agreed." Dinadan replied. "He is my prisoner so I will question him, but if he proves difficult I suppose you can talk to him, Gawain."

"I'll enjoy that," Gawain said, flexing his fist. "Go ahead by all means, Sir Dinadan."

Dinadan approached the man.
"I have questions." He said neutrally. "And I would like you to answer them."

Dinadan frowned.
"How many of you are in the area?" he asked.

Dinadan turned back to Gawain and Dina. "If there are hundreds here we had best turn back and warn the others. We cannot fight a hundred men alone, especially if you are injured, Gawain."
Then he thought of something else. "What about Camelot?" He asked. "Are there any of you there?"

Dina nodded, "We all need to be alert." She said. "Are we taking the man?"
