Hallewes, Dinadan and Gawain headed off north ahead of the main group. Gawain was in high spirits and had to fight the urge to whistle.
"It's good to be out in the open air again," he said. "Even though I know we're in for trouble when we reach Cambernic."

She had unslung her bow but was holding it loosely.

Gawain laughed.
"King Rion is no ordinary man. I fear that Arthur thinks he may be."

"That is the most helpful thing that you have ever said about somebody." Dina said slightly sarcastically. "What makes him adnormal? Does he have wings?"

"Worse," Gawain said. "He is the biggest man in the world. A giant."

"Not as unexpected as when I saw him for the first time because I didn't know he was a giant. It was quite a shock," Gawain laughed.

Dina grinned with mischeif. "Are you going to warn Arthur?" She asked.
Her hand flicked out and she picked a flower, smelt it and passed it to the knight with a smile.

"I am a giant as well." Dinadan mused. "To an ant I must appear enormous."

Dina laughed "I am sure that you do Sir. As you do to a fly, yet they will always come to you though they must know it is a danger to them."

"Perhaps they do. But I suspect most flies are more like Sir Galahad. They do not think a great deal before throwing themselves into a dangerous situation." Dinadan replied.

"Of course I shall tell Arthur that Rion is a giant," Gawain said. "And I do mean a true giant. I didn't know Sir Galahad was so reckless."

Dina sniggered "A pity that he is not with our company really then, he could have been sent into the giants lair first."

Gawain laughed.
"That is harsh, lady. I don't think the Lady of the Lake would be too pleased if her son was killed on this mission."

"Are you sure?" Dina asked innocently, the said to them both. "I am sorry, I should not speak so. Please forgive me."
