The messenger was sitting on a bench beside Gawain. He looked pale and there was a bandage sticking out of his sleeve. He barely looked as Galahad entered.
Arthur turned to Galahad.
"Is she coming?"

"Yes she'll be here in a moment." Galahad said, removing the medical supplies from the bag and laying them out on the table in anticipation of her arrival.

Dina was sat as far away from Arthur as she could be watching what was happening.

"Thank you, Galahad," Arthur said. "The poor man says he has a minor wound but is otherwise just exhausted from a long ride. I have an idea that a few of us should try to find out where Leodegrance and his daughters are, and attempt to set them free. While the rest of us follow with the army."
He looked around at the rest of the companions who were within earshot to see if any of them had an opinion.

"I will go ahead." Dina said "Maybe then I can actually be of use."

"Nobody said you weren't of use, my love," Gawain called over. "But if Dina goes, I shall go too."
Arthur nodded.
"I feel I must remain with the army. Will anybody else go with Sir Gawain and the Lady Dina?"

Dina smiled sweetly at Gawain, then as Arthur spoke gave a bitter laugh, she stopped herself from saying anything

Gawain leaned close to his betrothed.
"What's the matter, my love?"

"I will go." Galahad offered.

Arthur beamed at Galahad.
"Excellent!"
He looked around to see if anyone else wished to go. Meanwhile, Madame Lucia was tending the messenger.
"We should travel light," Gawain said to Dina and Galahad. "Just horses, weapons, armour and supplies."

"Are there no more volunteers than the three of us?" Galahad asked in disgust. "There are individuals in need of rescue, yet none of you have offered to aid them! What manner of knights are you?" he asked the knights seated in the hall.

"I can't send everyone with you," Arthur pointed out. "At least some of the knights must stay with the army."
Gawain nodded and flung his head backwards to stop his hair falling into his eyes.
"Arthur has the right of it, Galahad. A smaller group would travel faster. But you're right too, we could use a few more companions. Perhaps one of the druids will go with us."
Unfortunately, not everybody in the hall was paying attention to them, being more interested in their drink.

Galahad shook his head in disgust. It seemed about right that a pagan would be more honorable than Arthur's knights.

Gawain leaned close to his betrothed. "What's the matter, my love?" Dina frowned and shook her head. "I dont know!" She said clearly troubled.

He stroked her hair.
"Whatever it is, it is clearly bothering you. Don't worry about the boy Uther. I'm told he is fine now."
Arthur was walking through the hall, speaking to the various groups of knights and others to see who might be willing to join Gawain, Dina and Galahad.
OOC - will add 1 or 2 more NPCs to the group a little later
