Arthur summons those who have volunteered to go on the Quest for the Thirteen Treasures of Britain to join him in the council chamber at noon the day after the Beltane celebrations. Arriving first, with his sister Morgan and Lady Viviane, Arthur sits and waits for the others to arrive.

Galahad arrived first, and looked around. "I apologise your grace." he said, "It seems I have come too early."

Arthur smiled warmly.
"Not at all. You are simply first. Punctuality is an excellent quality in a knight. Thank you, Sir Galahad. Please be seated.. Are you looking forward to this as much as I am?"

"I am your grace." Galahad nodded. "I am sure you shall be most successful wherever your questing takes you." he added.

"Yes, I think that too. With a gallant company such as ours will be, how could we fail?"
Arthur's grin was boyish and infectious and his eyes were lit with the marvels he had seen during his vision.
"I always thought the Grail was a myth but to see it for myself....it was almost beyond belief!"

Galahad smiled. "Indeed, we are blessed to have received a glimpse of such a holy vessel. Hopefully the discovery of such relics will convince followers of the old faith that ours is the true religion."

Tristram of Lyonesse arrived shortly after. He knelt to Arthur.
"My liege. I am honored to participate in this quest. All Lyonesse, and I am sure Cornwall, is behind you."

Dinadan rounded the corner, out of breath. "I do not know if you shall have all of Cornwall, your grace." Dinadan grinned, "But you shall have me at least."
He turned to Tristram, "What on earth possessed you to run all the way here?" he asked. "I told you we were early as it was."

"I am sure you are right," Arthur told Galahad. I do not wish to persecute those of the old faith, as some of my dearest friends are pagans."
Here he gestured at Morgan and Viviane, both listening in apparent concern to the exchange.
"I find that Christianity holds much appeal for me. The vessel we saw was the cup of Christ, I know it!"
When the two knights arrived, Arthur grinned at their banter.
"So I shall have the two finest knights in Cornwall then? That is almost as good as having every fighting man in the Cornish kingdoms. Sir Galahad and I were remarking on the wonderous vision we all saw. I felt last night as if I could achieve anything. I still do. And fear not, my friends, I am merely thankful that you are here."

Tristram turned to his friend and grinned.
"I am eager to go adventuring Dinadan." He clapped his friend on the shoulder as Dinadan breathed heavily. "You need to get fitter." he joked.

Galahad nodded at the kings reference. He did not remember seeing the noisy one at the chapel, and watched him carefully as he caught his breath.

Dinadan rolled his eyes. "Very well, next time you have the urge to do something like that give me a couple weeks warning so I am able to get in shape."

Sir Lancelot arrived at the council with his usual careless gait, but despite the lack of concern her showed he was very excited about what was to happen, he lived for adventure and just sitting back in a city did nothing for him.
"My lords... Mother." He greeted with a bow and sat down in his place.

Sir Dagonet entered behind Lancelot, he was walking with an excessively bold gait trying to show a fearless demeanor that was not entirely there. He bowed to King Arthur and greets the others who are in attendance.

"My son," Viviane said, smiling at Lancelot. "I am pleased to have both my sons taking part in this quest, different though their reasons may be."
She turned her smile to Galahad to include him also.
"Yes, be welcome, Sir Lancelot," Arthur said. "I am hoping everyone else will be here soon."
Morgan acknowledged the arrivals with a nod but otherwise continued to study the book in her hand.
