"Well, you do want to correct yourself, so you are not horrible. Also, I don't think you're like my brother, who is only here for himself, so that counts for something." Galahad allowed. "That said, you practice a false religion, which is bound to negatively influence your morals. So your sense of right and wrong is quite poor, but not awful."

Dina gave a smile.
"I was taught my religion at a young age Sir, it is hard to want to leave it when I have been practising it for so long, but I am glad that I am not too awful."

"Taught by who?" Galahad asked. "If your family is entirely Christian, who raised you as a heathen?"

Dina gave a tiny flicker of annoyence.
"Please Sir, please do not call me a heathen." She said. "It was my nurse that taught me my religion."

"And your family didn't object to that?" Galahad seemed surprised. "A nurse is supposed to care for a child, not corrupt it..."
It was clear that Galahad did not think very highly of the nurse.

"I am my fathers only daughter Sir, I am allowed to do things that my brothers may not be allowed to. And my nurse was a great lady. It was her that I ran to when I was hurt on needed someone."

"That may be, but I know of very few fathers who would willingly see their daughter turn her back on heaven." Galahad frowned. "But in any case your nurse is in no way a great lady. She took you when you did not know any better and corrupted you."
Galahad's disgust was evident upon his face.

"My father has reconciled himself to my wishes Sir. He can see that I am happy and that is enough for him." Dina answered. "I was made to listen to services in the chapel but I was never interested in them. I made my nurse tell me her stories, so she could not corrupt me, more I did myself."

Galahad looked at her, shocked. "Do you not see how fortunate you were? You were brought up by a proper, righteous Christian family. You had unlimited access to religious material, and could have asked any questions you wished to a priest. Yet you turned your back on such a wonderful gift? God is disappointed in you, I'm sure."
He paused, before going on. "I was afforded none of those luxuries. I was brought up on an island of sin. It was not until later in my youth, through my own efforts, I came to learn of Christianity. I suppose that speaks of our character though. I was able to find what was right when I was raised to live in the wrong, whereas you chose to tread the path of a heathen, when you had every opportunity to be virtuous. I take back what I said early. Your ideas of right and wrong are awful indeed."

"Sir please do not call me a heathen!" Dina repeated. "Maybe I did choose the path that I thought that I was best suited for instead of the one that seemed chosen for me but that is what I do... I am sorry that you think that my choice was wrong truly but each of us should be masters of our own destinies."

"If your destiny carries you away from what is right, is it truly your destiny?" Galahad demanded.

"If that is what has been decided for me then yes." Dina said. "Everyone should follow their own paths."

"No, everyone should follow the right path. Make as many excuses as you like, but you've strayed from that path." Galahad scowled.

"Well I am sorry that you think that Sir Galahad. Truly." Dina said. "Maybe one day you will feel differently."
She moved her horse away from him, giving up on trying/.

"I should think not." Galahad said, not bothering to look at her as she departed. "I'm not as easily corrupted as some."
