Gawain hadn't been listening to Dina's conversation with Galahad but he knew something was wrong. He chose, however, to say nothing of it, simply watching over his companions and making conversation or directing their journey where appropriate.

On the evening of their second day in the saddle, they reached a large village on the coast. From what they could see as they approached, it seemed to have a number of communal buildings as well as the houses that were further off.
"Ah," said Gawain. "Here we will likely find a boat. But I think we shouldn't all go at once. It might frighten the villagers, with four of us being armed men. I think two should go and seek a boat large enough to carry us all, and our horses if possible. Unless anyone else has other suggestions?"

"I can go if you wish Gawain." Dina said. "I think that I am less likely to scare them all off."
She grinned at him to show that she was kidding.

"I shall go too, I have found that most villagers find me fairly approachable, must be my easy manner," Lancelt said with a smirk and started already to walk off in the direction of the village.

"Excellent," Gawain said. "Good luck, both of you."
He unrolled his map and made some markers on it with a piece of charcoal, trying to work out where they were despite the inaccuracies. Meanwhile, Sagramore was tending to the group's horses and Seren was looking for herbs.
As Lancelot and Dina walked through the village, they soon learned that it had a small harbour, a village hall and a tavern. Any of these would be suitable places to make enquiries about a boat.

"What do you think Sir?" Dina asked Lancelot.

Lancelot had seemingly already made the decision that the harbour and was drifting in that direction, "Where best to find a boat than the harbour?" he suggested taking a couple of steps backwards in it's direction and grinning before turning properly and walking in it's direction in earnest.

Dina laughed lightly and jogged to catch up with him.
"Harbour it is then." She said.

Lancelot walked onto the dock and looked around for any boats that may be large enough and any people there that may have been able to assist them.

There were several possibilities. Firstly, because it was a fishing village, there were a number of boats that would be large enough to hold their group of six, though not their horses. However, there was a small ship that looked big enough for the horses. Most of the boats were attended by villagers bringing in their catch, although at least one of the smaller boats was not attended.

"I suppose we should ask if we could borrow a boat." He said aloud, though was already heading off to the people who were by the ship. "Hello, good people," Lancelot said to get their attention, "I am Sir Lancelot du Lac, and I come on a mission of great import and require your aid."

Some of the fishermen ignored Lancelot as they were too busy hauling in their nets . A few, however, looked interested.
"What can we do for you, great sir?" One man asked.

"We are on a mission," Lancelot said, looking to the man, not caring if the great was sarcastic or not, "And we have need of a vessel to take us along the coast to save the King of Cameliard and his daughters. Obviously time is of the essence." He said, and in case this was not enough, "We come on behalf of King Arthur."

One of the younger fishermen was eyeing Dina up most disrespectfully. He winked at her and made a rude gesture. Dina was unlikely to be impressed, especially because he stank of fish.
"How about you and me?" He said.
Meanwhile, other men were listening to Lancelot.
"We sometimes trade along the coast of Cameliard," one of the fishermen said. "We know nothing of kings here, but for the sake of my friends in Cameliard, I will loan you my boat. But if you don't pay me, sir, my family will go hungry because of all the fish we will lose."

Dina didnt let her disgust show.
"I think that my knight might say something about that." She replied, thinking of Gawain.
