The fisherman of course thought Dina was referring to Lancelot.
"Him? He's more interested in a boat than his wife," he said. "I can show you a better time than him."

Dina glanced at Lancelot and laughed.
"I am not his wife." She said mildly. "And I doubt that you would."

lancelot looked at the man who disrespected Dina and glared at him, but let Dina fight her own battle for now, and looked back to the fisherman, "How much would you earn for the fish if we leant the boat from you?" He asked, wondering how much money they had with them, and whether the man would accept it if they swore to return with coin later if they had not enough.

"There's only one way to find out," the young man said, and winked.
The man speaking to Lancelot considered for a while.
"Five silvers per day on my boat."
He indicated one of the boats that was far too small to hold the horses but would manage six people.

"And that one way will never happen." Dina said, but she smiled sweetly at him.

"Is there no one willing to offer us a bigger boat? Or even that ship?" He asked the fisherman, knowing the small boat would do, but not the best option if they had to leave the horses.

"That's not mine," the man said. "Ask my friend here."
He indicated a tall, bearded man standing close by.
"Can't see what the two of you need with my ship," the bearded man said. "Twenty silvers a day."

"You are jesting," Lancelot said, looking at the man who owned the ship and then waved Dina over, "Stop making friends Dina and come over here," Lancelot teased,
"One moment please, we should discuss this." he said, with a nod to both the fishermen.

Dina poked her tongue out at him, and went to his side
"Are you jealous of my friend making skills Sir?" She teased.

"Oh immensely, are you impressed with my job doing skills?" He teased back, "These two men are offering their boats, for a price." Lancelot said, looking distasteful at the word price, "one will lend us his small boat for five silvers, but that means we cannot take the horses, but for twenty we can get a ship, and take the horses."

Dina bit her lip as she thought.
"We will need the horses on the other side, and they are not ours, we need to take care of them as best we can." She mused aloud. "I can run back to Gawain and ask his advice and that of the rest if you need me to."

"This is not just Sir Gawain's quest, we should use our own judgement, and I think that the ship is the right decision." Lancelot said, with a nod, "We shan't pay them until we tell them anyway."

"I didnt say that it was Sir." Dina replied. "I simply wanted to help as we were unsure."

"There is no need to be defensive my lady," Lancelot said, "And we seemed to be in agreement." he pointed out, "But if you want to run to get your betrothed's permission then I shall not stop you." He teased her, though less playfully.

Dina laughed and shook her head,
"As you are the deal maker Sir, you should see how far he is willing to drop the price though, we do have limited means."
