"With Galahad with them? With his tactics of just walking up to the door and stamping his feet and making demands? we'd be better without him. Unfortunately seren and Sangramore come with him," lancelot said, he had the feeling he'd be out voted again though.

"Bear in mind that we must consider how best to enter the castle. We may as well discuss that and hope they appear while we are doing so," Gawain said. "If not, we can decide whether or not to wait longer."

"No, Sir Lancelot, you know how I feel about your brother. But from all accounts he is a great fighter and Sir Sacagamore is too, surely we will need their help... and Serens."

"Okay then," lancelot said, with a shrug, "How do you propose we get inside. We can't very well walk through the front door, perhaps there is a way in through the foundations?, like a secret entrance?"

"Perhaps. I didn't see one," Gawain sighed. "We could conduct a more thorough search. Or...that leaves a window...or the privy, but I don't fancy that."
He pulled a face.
"If Seren were here she could surely use her magic to our advantage."

"How?" Lancelot asked, though he didn't doubt that she could help, "The windows could work, but when we get inside... we don;t even know where the dungeons are?"

"Or continue with our disguise." Dina said after thinking in silence
"No christian man would stop two monks from entering their home if they asked."

"I know, but in most castles dungeons are either in the cellars or in the tallest towers. I'm guessing it will be the same here. Whatever we do, it's a big risk. And Seren could help us deal with intruders, put out the lamps, anything like that," Gawain pointed out.
He looked at Dina.
"That's possible. I think somebody told me Vortimer is Christian, so that helps, but what reason would we have for being at the castle?"

"This isn't just a castle, this is a castle with the occupants at war, they should be more suspicious than usual and less inclined for generosity." Lancelot said to Dina, and then looked at Gawain and nodded, "i guess we shall have to wait."

"Well ever warring christians allow monks into their castles. If you tell them that you are taking me to a convent and simply do not wish to wait out the night in the forests... maybe then they will let us in and I can be taken to the princesses without us getting ourselves lost."

"Not all christians are good christians." Lancelot said, "They're as different and grey and everyone else."

"So take a chance!" Dina said. "We will not find out until we try and I can hid a knife or something in my boot, they wouldnt check a girl that is being dragged to a convent."

"That's true," Gawain agreed. "I think it's worth a try. It's that or we sneak in at night, which is more dangerous. Monks get up ten times a night to attend their prayers, so nobody should think it odd to see us up in the night."

"And if something was to go wrong then one of you can escape and get help." Dina put in. "I can act like a troubled child, and I know something of the christian faith."

Lancelot thought it was one of the stupidest ideas he had heard in a while, now was not the time for taking chances on make shift disguises, he thought people were more inclined to be suspicious of a girl being dragged to a convent than one just going to one, or an actual nun. "Whatever you two think is best."
