Gawain considered for a moment.
"Can either of you two climb?"

"Trees, yes." Dina answered.

"I was speaking of ropes," Gawain replied. "If we go in at night, as Lancelot would like, we would have to climb ropes."

"Oh no, by all means, let's use the front door instead." Lancelot said, "it might work."

"Ropes would be harder, especially if we meet the Princesses." Dina said thoughtfully

Gawain burst out laughing. It was ridiculously inappropriate but he couldn't help it.
"There's no need for sarcasm, Lancelot. We need to think which option will be safest for us."
Just then, however, they heard running footsteps. Seren was running towards them and she looked panicked.
"Oh sirs, and Lady Dina! It was horrible! Sagramore and Galahad are lost! It was all I could do to escape!"

Dina slid off her horse and ran to meet Seren
"What happened?" She asked, putting her arm round her to calm her down.

Seren wept into Dina's shoulder. Her words came out between sobs.
"We saw men and then the men saw us and Sir Galahad told us to flee. We split up. Then Sir Galahad decided to fight them. But there were twenty. Sir Sagramore was cut down and I saw Sir Galahad fall. They must both be dead."
Her sobs continued.

Dina rubbed the druid girls back.
"Looks like we are on our own then." She stated un-needed

Lancelot had been listening and went rigid when he heard the last thing the druid girl said, "Galahad's dead..." He said and then gave a dangerous glare at nothing in particular, "Are you certain?" he asked, looking directly at Seren from where he was standing, hand twitching towards his sword. He wanted to march up to the castle and just kill everyone in it.

"Sir Galahad may not be dead. Seren, did you see anything that happened after?" Dina asked, still comforting the girl.

Seren turned and looked at Lancelot.
"I'm not sure. I saw him fall from his horse. He was still alive then, but surely they would kill him after he fell? I'm so sorry, sir, but it was all I could do to stop some of the men from attacking them. And I had to run after. They would rape me before they killed me."
She burst into tears again.

"Don't blame yourself." Lancelot said, but it was somewhat monotonous. He looked off to the side and didn't look at anyone now.
"How are we getting in then, if I have lost my brother to this mission, I am not failing it as well." Lancelot said, mostly looking at gawain, "I still think it is too much of a risk, you and I should be able to handle the ropes, perhaps if seren and Dindrane can hold onto us we can get them up too? Getting out should not be as difficult as getting in, we'll be going through guards into an open area, rather than going through guards into a castle full of guards."

"As you wish," Gawain said, deferring to Lancelot in his presumed grief. "We will try the ropes, so long as all of us can manage. We will need to find the window that offers the most secluded view from the ramparts. We will be easy targets when we are climbing, though perhaps Dina can shoot some of the men down with her bow."
"I could help," Seren offered. "I can cast a wind that would disorient men and maybe make them fall."
"Do that," Gawain said. "So long as it doesn't make us fall. What do you think, Lancelot?"

"You two cannot go in alone." Dina said annoyed. "What if you run into trouble in the castle and need help?"
