King Mark of Cornwall arrives with his retinue including his nephew Prince Tristan of Lyonesse and other companions. His standard bearer flies the red and gold colors of Cornwall, the three gold lion heads on a field of red, flapping proudly in the breeze.

The Cornishmen are welcomed into the castle by the guards and assigned chambers in the castle. King Mark's chamber is particularly sumptuous.

A black haired Knight wearing some very old looking armour rides slowly up to the gates his horse seems to be in worse shape then the man who hangs over his saddle. Dark hair falls down covering his face.

The guards began to murmur amongs themselves. One of them seemed to think that the newcomer was familiar but the other insisted that the man was a stranger to him. After a minute or two, the elder of the two guards, who thought hee recognised the knight, called down to Mordred "Your name, sir?"

Slowly the Knight rises and pushes back his hair, "Well Henry not a hello for your favorite little boy." The smile is all teeth and shows humor but the eyes look dead inside.

"Sir Modred. I knew I recognised you," he said. "This fellow here was too young. He was still a child when you left. Welcome. Open the gates!"
The gates slowly creaked open and the guard turned back to Mordred.
"We did not see you at the coronation, sir."

"The King does not speak to the likes of me beyond a brief greeting if I am on guard when he leaves the castle, but he appears healthy and content. Sir Ector raised him well."
The guard eyed Mordred dubiously.
"The gate is not the place for talking, Sir, especially about the King. I could come speak to you later once you have settled into your chambers?"

Mordred simply nodded to the man. Tapping the horses flanks he moved into Camelot.

Sir Lamorak rode to the gates, with the Kings summons he expected to find them open however that was not the case. His armor and accoutrements are dust covered from travel though their quality is obvious.
Lamorak called out to get the attention of the guards on duty. When they looked over the parapet he spoke. "I have come on the King's summons, is there trouble?"

"No trouble," the guards shouted down. "Not that the likes of us know about. King don't confide in us. Who are you?"

Perhaps his attire and his warhorse's trappings were more dust covered than he thought or perhaps that he lacked an entourage. "Sir Lamorak of Listeneise, heir to King Pellinore." He responded curtly

An older guard whispered to the young one who had been speaking. The gates were opened and one of the guard officers came down to meet him with a bow.
"My apologies, sir. Some of these men are newly hired and don't recognise every knight of Camelot. I'm told that you were expected and your room has been prepared. King Arthur considers your father King Pellinore as one of his closest allies."

Lamorak waved a gauntleted hand as if to say if was nothing to worry over. "That is kind of you to say, my father cherishes his friendship with the High King. A room will be most welcome." He nodded to the older guard then rode through the gates heading for the castle's stable.
