Dina hurried to the gatehouse, already notching an arrow.
She ignored the idiot.

"If I am caught, then so be it. At least I will know that I did all I could to save the lives of the men who must fight this war. Will you be able to make a similar claim?" Galahad asked.

Dina turned her head to look at him and looked very much like she wanted to shoot him.
Instead she tried to get a clear shot at the guards that the rescued girls were fighting with.

"Well no, but our mission was to rescue the princesses," Seren argued. "Should we not put them first?"
Dina's arrow shot one of the two guards right through the small of his back. The other went down easily enough. One of the girls grabbed he keys. Gawain shoved the door open and the three of them bolted through it.
The guards atop the walls reached for their bows.
"I can't stay," Seren argued. "I must help the princesses."
She waved her hands in the air, chanting, and the air was filled with the rumble of thunder and then a great downpour of rain began.

Dina glanced over to Seren
"Run." She said to her, taking her own advice quickly, knowing she could never shoot all of the guards.

"Lancelot! Please, you must help me." Galahad begged.

Seren looked briefly at Dina and then she said a few more strange words and forked lightning filled the air. There was a scream as the fork hit one of the men on the ramparts. Seren grabbed Father Eadmund's arm.
"Come, sir."
She helped the old man hurry towards the gates. Though she was breathing heavily she kept chanting between breaths to keep the rain and thunder going.

Dina had paused at the gate and helped Seren with the old man.

As Lancelot was left alone with his brother he looked at him and then round at where the others had gone. He could see the merits of what Galahad wanted to do, but it also seemed like a fool's errand to him, trying to kidnap Vortimer in his own castle.
He cursed and shook his head at Galahad, "I am sorry brother, we do not know what is happening with the army at Cameliard, we have the princesses, we need to do all we can to help them, we're no use to anyone if we are killed or captured doing this, and they have a better chance with us." he said, trying to reason with his brother and looking at him imploringly, to for once, follow him with this.

Galahad did not attempt to hide his fury.
"Go." He snarled. "I will follow you. Alone I can never succeed. All I needed was your help, Lancelot, but yet again you have failed me."

Lancelot could think of a lot to say to that, but this time he didn't say anything at all, and just followed in the directions of the others.

Galahad screamed in frustration, and smashed his stolen sword against the tower wall.
He stood, alone, examining the tower for a few seconds before hurrying after his brother.
