Gawain and Dina were in their costumes and ready to rescue the princesses. Gawain held Dina's arm as he led her in the direction indicated by the dead guard.
"Try not to speak if we're stopped on the way," he said. "And be prepared for bloodshed if the guards don't believe us."

"Naturally." Dina replied. "If we do see people, you do know I will try and get away." She had obvious humor in her voice about this fact.

"Yes. Just don't struggle too hard. It has to be realistic, but a real guard would strike a prisoner, and I couldn't bear to hurt you," Gawain replied. "And I will have to if you seem to be putting up a good fight."

Dina grinned at him.
"Whos the Princess?" She asked softly. "Anyway likelihood is that if I do struggle to hard someone will come to help you, and that will hurt more then you would."

"That's true, but I'd rather not hurt you at all. It's best you never find out how hard I can hit," he said. "Now, best stop smiling, little princess, or we'll be caught for sure."
He pulled gently on her arm to hurry her up.
They could see guards up ahead, but some distance away, clearly far enough that they hadn't been disturbed by the fight.

Dina's face fell. She started to hurry to catch up with his stride.
"I dont think you would hurt me." She said quietly.

"Not intentionally. If we're questioned, we'll say I took you to the chapel to pray. Vortimer's known to be Christian, so the castle is sure to have a chapel."
He fell quiet as they got closer to the guards, and did his best to look like he was dragging along an unwilling prisoner.

Dina attempted to pull away from his grip, she made it look like she was struggling harder then she was.

"Enough, damn you," Gawain growled.
Up ahead, one of the guards was looking in their direction. Unfortunately they were alone on this section of the ramparts and had to hope none of the other guards realised that five guards were missing.

Dina had to fight the urge to smile. She continued to play in hope that they would pay more attention to her then to their missing commrades.
"If I get to much throw me over your shoulder." She muttered so that only Gawain could hear.

"I think I'd like that a little too much," he said.
They got closer to the tower but recalled that this was not the one the dead man had told them to go to. The guard called out "Got yourself a little whore, have you?"
"No," Gawain called back. "Princess wanted to pray."
"Which one is she?"
Gawain shrugged as best he could whilst holding onto Dina.
"No idea. I don't know your names."
The guard grinned and looked at Dina "What's your name, my lady?"

Dina was silent, she had no idea on the princess's name.

The guard laughed at her silence.
"Girl knows her place, at least. I heard the king plans to marry her. Or her sister."
Gawain sucked in a breath and hoped Dina wouldn't react.

Dina kept her mouth shut. She tilted her head towards the ground and let herself cry.

"Oh, move along," the guard snarled.
Gawain dragged her along to the next section of wall.
"Well done," he whispered.
