Dina did not move for the moment, instead trying to see how close the Princess's and Gawain were to the gate, and how many were going to try and get her.

Gawain and the girls were making their way across the courtyard. They were undisturbed so far. On the ramparts she could see the wounded man some distance away but two other men were running towards her from the opposite direction.

Dina tried to shoot the two men running to her, before gauging if she needed to run or not.

She managed to hit both men in the shoulder, wounds that were painful and made them pause, but she knew she would have to run. She could probably manage one more shot but two was unlikely.

Dina checked again on Gawain and the Princesses, then still in full sight of the guards started to pick her way quickly away from them.

The guards were still running after Dina. Meanwhile, Gawain and the girls were walking across the courtyard at a comfortable pace.

Dina saw some stairs near, and ran down them, guessing it would be easier for her to get out on the ground.

The guards were still running after her but as she reached the ground she saw that Gawain and the girls were heading across the courtyard. Some distance away, a group of four was also in the courtyard.

Dina yelled loudly at the group, hoping that they would be drawn to her and not Gawain and the Princesses. She glanced behind her to see how close the men were to her.

Galahad ignored the other voice, knowing that it was of little import. His attention was entirely focused on the group of three. "Vortimer must be taking them to the Chapel..." He muttered, his face contorting angrily. "We must save them before it is to late."

Dina paused and shot off an arrow at the group as they didnt respond to her.
She didnt aim for anyone, just to get their attention, then ran again.

The men pursuing Dina were a fair distance behind, hampered as they were by their wounded shoulders.
"That is not the way to the chapel," Father Eadmund said. "We have a chapel inside the castle. Vortimer would not take his precious prisoners to the gate. It must be your companions with then."
"But there is only three. So that means one of the princesses is missing," Seren said anxiously.
She let out a shriek as Dina's arrow flew down, narrowly missing their group.
Gawain and the two girls were almost at the gate now.

Galahad cursed. "They must have fled, leaving one with Vortimer!"
"If you go to rescue the remaining princess, I'll hold off the guards." He left no room for negotiation, immediately running off in the direction where the arrow had come from.

Dina had been looking around to see if her pausing had hurt her advantage and collided with Galahad.
