Galahad stiffened. He stared at Lancelot for a moment before pushing his hand away and walking off on his own.

OOC - no problem, it happens!
Seren rolled her eyes at the discord between the two brothers. Father Eadmund, however, turned so that he was facing both of them.
"My friends, may I suggest that I guide you? I know where the unfortunate princesses are being held captive. With Sir Lancelot and the lady Seren dressed as guards we will surely pass unnoticed. I am sure I still have friends here. This is a Christian kingdom and Vortimer's recvent behaviour towards me was markedly unChristian."

"Very well, I would rather follow your lead than Lancelot's." Galahad replied. "You are a man of God, after all."

"So I am, but we are all God's creatures," the priest remarked mildly. "I do not know what bad blood lies between you both but I pray that it does not last."
Seren tapped her foot on the ground and looked at the two knights.
"If we're going, can we just go! We risk discovery every moment we are here!"

"And your god really helped you, didn't he?" Lancelot said, under his breath to Galahad, he wanted to point out that there'd have been no need to come get him if it wasn't for Galahad himself, he was really started to be put off by his brother, he'd thought this brush with the dark side may have opened his eyes to what a little boy he was, apparently not.
Lancelot looked at Seren's foot tapping and looked disapproving at her impatience, but said nothing and exited the dungeons with the helmet back on, to go find the others, "how do we get to where the princesses are from here?" he asked the father, in a low voice.

"We must leave the keep and go up the ramparts. There is a door near here, as you probably recall. Then the tower we must go to is the second closest from that door. There are steps along that section of the wall," Father Eadmund explained. "But it is to be hoped we find your friends sooner rather than later."

"Yes, it is imperative that we reach them before Vortimer can marry one of them." Galahad said grimly.

"Let's go," Seren murmured. "I could go first, then I can summon the power of the elements to mask our trail if need be."

For once, Galahad didn't argue. He merely nodded and waited for the group to begin moving.

Seren hurried out into the corridor. Fortunatley, the group was in luck and met no resistance as they emerged in the courtyard.
Father Eadmund indicated the stairs.
"There," he said. "The tower is just along the far end."

"I'll go first." Galahad said. "The tower will surely be guarded."

But just as Galahad was speaking, he saw three people - one dressed as a guard - heading through the courtyard with two female figures. It was too dark for him to recognise the man as Gawain, at least before he got closer.

"Wait, are those the princesses there?" Galahad asked, pointing over at the three figures.

"They might be," Father Eadmund said. "My old eyes can't be sure, though."
He heard a yell from someone nearby, someone who seemed to be on the steps.
