"I am sure that they are more then worthy." Dina said with a smile. She glanced back to Gawain, knowing she was not great at haggling.
"Has Sir Blamore shown interest?"

"Yes, it was he who came to us. One of his knights recommended us to him," she explained.
Gawain stepped forward a bit, ready to come to Dina's aid.
"We want to be horse traders to the King, one day."

"Well we wish you luck, but is there any chance of lowering the price for us?" Dina asked, cocking her head to the side and giving a small smile. "We are in a hurry and have far to go."

"No. We have to make money to live, stupid girl. These are horses fit for noblemen."

"What makes you think that we are not nobility?" Dina asked with a frozen smile.

"No noble lady would dress like that," the farmer's wife scoffed. "You are dressed like a commoner. A lady wears silk gowns."

"Well this one does, and she is going to see your King and maybe even tell him that the reason that she is late to meet him is because of you." Dina said, deciding to see if that would work.

OOC - roll fails. The woman is not persuaded.
"I don't believe that, girl. And you have a strange voice. Whoever you are, you're not from here. I don't trust you. Begone!"

Dina ignored her for a moment and turned to Gawain.
"The prices are high." She told him. "Maybe two would be able?"

"But we'd still only have five horses between eight of us," he pointed out. "So three of the horses would have to take two riders every time."

Dina smiled lightly at him.
"Maybe you would do better Gawain." She said quietly, so that the woman couldnt hear.

"I doubt it. She's obviously set on refusing us or making us pay. The only way would be to threaten her," he sighed.

"The two that we can are mares, the two we cannot really are stallions." Dina told him.

"I see. It's a pity, because the stallions would be bigger and better able to carry two," he said. "I suppose we could manage it but I'd rather we all had our own mount. Accidents happen. What if one of the horses is lamed? If we lost one of the horses, we'd all have to ride double."

"Well then it seems that you were right and I was wrong." Dina said to him, smiling lightly. "But we will just have to do it wont we?"
