The group of rescuers leave Cantium and head for Cameliard.
Gawain looked around at the others.
"So, what do you all think, shall we go by land or sea?"

"We were fine by sea before." Dina said

"Land." Galahad muttered. "I have no interest in dealing with the unsavory man who brought us here again."

"I don't like ships," one of the princesses said, the one that was always praying and whom Dina had introduced to the rest of the group as Guinevere. "Travelling by sea makes me sick. I am quite sure the sea is better suited to fishes than men."
Her sister laughed. Though she had been introduced to the group as Gwendolyn, who planned to be a nun, she seemed too lively and prayed far less often than her sister.
"Oh, don't be such a blanket," she scoffed. "There is nothing wrong with the sea!"
Gawain looked helplessly at the others at the banter between the sisters.
"Perhaps Sir Galahad has a point," he said. "Going by sea would be quicker yet they might be able to send word to the ports now they know we are here."

"And if they haven't then we will have to take the long way round where we are open to more attacks with you still injured Gawain." Dina said

"So this is all about Gawain then?" Galahad frowned. "Your priorities are in serious need of readjustment. Our mission is to protect the princesses, not your betrothed."

Dina gave a bright smile to Galahad.
"If you havent noticed Sir." She said. "Gawain is a knight too and if he is injured and we are attacked then we have less of a chance to get away. And like I said, the road is longer and we are more likely to have something happen to us."

"Why does his being a knight change anything?" Galahad retorted, not mirroring her smile. "You'd have us associate with scum for his benefit. Keeping the company of lesser individuals such as the man who brought us here is hardly going to keep the princesses safe. Your motives are clearly very different from mine, which is hardly surprising, but still disappointing."

"Well if you hadnt have acted out before then Sir Sagramore would still be with us and we wouldnt have to worry about our numbers" Dina bit back, then she stopped and shook her head. "But clearly no matter what I think it will be against your views."

Galahad's fists clenched. "Mock Sagramere's name again and I promise you will regret it."

"I would never mock anyone Sir Galahad, especially not him." Dina replied calmly. "I was merely saying it would be easier if one of our number had not been lost."

"It would also be easier if you weren't an obnoxious, self-serving..." Galahad snapped only just managing to stop himself before he said something worse.
"Some things are simply unalterable." He added after a moment.

Dina had to laugh as he called her obnoxious and self serving.
She shrugged "Well we all know how what you think is best for us all."
