"I agree your grace, this is most definitely a Christian relic." Galahad said quietly.

Dinadan scratched his head. It seemed odd that a Christian relic would be in the land of the Fay, perhaps Christianity had borrowed some relics from the Old Faith.

Arthur beamed at Galahad.
"I'm pleased you understand, Galahad. Many people cling to the old pagan ways but I have thought since I was a boy that Christianity is the one true faith. I met a hermit once who told me the pagan gods were just aspects of the one true God."
Morgan sighed. She looked like she desperately wanted to argue with him but she dared not do so in front of the knights, or the King and Queen of the Fay.
"You must believe whatever brings you comfort, Arthur."

Dinadan scratched his head. It seemed odd that a Christian relic would be in the land of the Fay, perhaps Christianity had borrowed some relics from the Old Faith. Tristram also looked puzzled. He was not in the habit of being outspoken, but he had to ask. "Ceridwen was an enchantress was she not? One of the old goddesses? How then can this be a Christian relic?"

Dina hid a smile. That was a good point, if it were true.
"It is an amazing gift, no matter what faith it is from, after all it will help our King on this quest will it not?" She said, her voice low.

"Calling a relic something does not mean that that is it's true name." Galahad replied assertively. "I could call your sword a boot, but it would still truly be a sword."

"Then what is its true name?" asked Tristram.

"Of course it will help me," Arthur agreed with Dina. "It is the Girdle of the Virgin Mary," he added to the others.
"No, it is the Girdle of the goddess, Ceridwen," Morgan insisted. "The mother of Christ is just another name for the great Mother, Matrona.. But of course, a Christian will see it differently from those of us who follow the old ways."

"But if it is the Girdle of the Virgin Mary, what is it doing here in the lands of the fay?" Dinadan asked curiously.

Arthur seemed confused.
"I...I don't know. It's...odd. There are many things in this world that i don't understand."

"The fay could have stolen it." Galahad suggested quietly.

Dina looked like she wanted to hit the knight.
"Not everything that we find comes from your religion Sir." She said, her voice level though she seethed inside. "Some of your religion is based on things from ours too."

"I know more about your religion than you think." Galahad replied. "And you are wrong, there are almost no similarities at all between the two."

"If you think that we would steal something from yours Sir then you clearly know nothing about it." Dina retorted. "And suggesting that the fay stole it, in their country is just plain rude Sir, did you miss your lesson on manners?"

"I'm not the one being rude right now, my lady." Galahad replied with icy courtesy. "Perhaps you should examine your actions before you examine mine."

"Mayhaps you should not accuse our hosts of stealing a relic that is older then you know." Dina said, stung by being called rude. "Her Grace has gifted us with something that we were going to find, she had offered it, she didnt have to give it to us and yet she did and you say that about her people!"
