Morgan laughed prettily.
"How can you say something is both admirable and wrong, sir? Perhaps I ought to show you what I can do? Then you would see that mankind can certainly perform what some may call miracles."

"I never claimed man was unable to perform miracles. I merely stated that it is wrong to do so." Galahad replied. "Perhaps you misunderstood my point, I was criticising your beliefs not you individually. Thus, your beliefs are incorrect, but your devotion to them is admirable."

Dina looked like she was going to say something to Sir Galahad but stopped herself determined not to speak to the knight that she found extremely rude ever again.
"Your Grace." She said instead to Arthur "Now that we have the first treasure do we know our next heading?"

"I understand," Morgan said, not happily. "But no god, whether it be your Christ, or my own gods, would give a mortal powers such as mine if they meant them not to be used. But let us leave it there, Sir Galahad. I don't wish to quarrel with you."
"Yes," said Arthur to Dina. "I shall go North to Cambernic. Morgan will go west to Cornwall."

Galahad said after a brief silence.

Merlin listened to the religious debates with growing concern. He had found in his time that such discussion amongst companions could only divide them.
"Can the relics not be both Christian and Pagan, my friends? I do not see how one necessarily excludes the other. Christians were once Jews, and Jews once were Pagans. We share many of the same holidays and hold many of the same things to be sacred. These relics should not divide us, but bring both faiths together." he chimed in, in the kind lecturing tone he had once used with Arthur.

"Queen Argante could not tell me the location of all the objects, so some of them we will have to search for ourselves. But she could tell me that we seek a sword in Cornwall. And in Cambernic, the object we seek is quite famous. Rion's Lance, which is wielded by the King of Cambernic," Arthur explained to Dina. "Christian legend says that it was once the spear of Longinus, who wounded Christ on the Cross."
He turned to Merlin with a smile.
"You are quite right! That is exactly how it is! It's how I want the realm to be. I would never seek to make a Christian pagan nor a pagan Christian but I hope all my live in peace together."

"I have never heard of the lance or Longinus before." Dina said a little shyly. "Do you think that the king will give it over or need pursading?"

Arthur shrugged.
"I've never met King Rion, but I'm told he's hostile to my claim as High King. I would guess that we'll have to fight him."
"Aye, we will. Rion will never give anything up willingly. He's a fierce and proud warrior," Gawain said. "He guards that lance like it's an extra limb."

Dina gave a moments thought then shrugged.
"That will give a little excitement then." She said matter-of-factly.

"Perhaps more excitement than you know," Gawain said cryptically, grinning at her. "Rion is...odd. I've not spoken to him myself but I know men who have."

Tristram listened with interest at the news of a sword in Cornwall. He knew the area well.
"I shall go to Cornwall my lord King with your sister. We will find what you seek." he said excitedly.
