The hallways and corridors round Castle Camelot

Iseult walked down the corridors of Camelot as she was wont to do in moments to herself, which were fairly frequent in occurrence, especially now that the excitement of the Kings and Lords of the land coming together was over, and most of the notable knights and people had left.
She ran her hand along the wall as she walked, as she always did, now only through force of habit, but when she was little she used to imagine finding secret passages around the castle, and spent time looking round the hallways trying to find their openings.

After a while, she heard footsteps and a voice called out "Lady Iseult? Are you alright?"
The voice was sultry and feminine, voice of Morgause, Arthur's half sister.

Iseult blinked a few timed after turning and and then smiled as she saw Morgause, "Yes, thank you, My lady," She said after snapping out of her reverie where she was encountering faeries from the mists down one of the trails she found, "I was away where wild things are," she said, her accent strong when compared to how Morgause sounded. She sounded about five in comparison, "I must have looked in quite the daze."

Morgause laughed throatily.
"You did, but I have seen it before. My sister gets that way when she's done scrying. I must say, you have quite the charming accent. What a pity you have no brothers here. I would not be able to restrain myself."
She smiled and came closer to Iseult.
"So what were you thinking of?"

"Adventure and excitement," Iseult said as she got closer, "You should try to go to Ireland one day, then you could have your pick of the nice sounding Irish men, I think my oldest brother sounds far to course." She went on, "I liked the British accents when I first came here, but they sound just too familiar now."

"Yes, time does that. It's our nature to be intrigued by the exotic. Perhaps I will go to Ireland one day. Do you hope to stay here always or to go back to Ireland?"

"It would depend if I had something here to stay for, but currently, if I was told I could go home tomorrow I would, being kept here as I am is not exactly the most homely way to live, and I should like the comfort of home not the weight of political leverage." Iseult said, deciding to be honest that time and to the point.

"That is fair," Morgause agreed. "And what if you were offered a husband here? One that you liked. Would he be good enough reason to stay?"

"Would you like me to stay, Lady Morgause?" She asked cocking her head to the side and smiling playfully, "I should think I would have to say if I was offered a husband here, I cannot imagine it is the done thing to refuse one, if Arthur and my father agree on it, though your sister assured me, that even Arthur cannot force me to marry against my will, which of course needs considering." She paused and looked down smiling, "Of course, if I liked him it would be another matter entirely. I do like it here."

"Yes, it's very pleasant. I will be sorry to leave though I'm sure my lord Lot's castle is lovely too," Morgause replied. "I think, Iseult, that it would be very good for you to stay here. In fact..."
She leaned in close.
"I would like it very well if you did stay. Perhaps as my kinswoman."

Iseult looked slightly suspicious for a second, but then smiled, "Why? does King Lot have desires for an Irish alliance?" She asked, though she was not sure that was what Morgause had meant.

"He might, if I asked him to consider it," she said with a sultry smile. "Neither of his sons are wed. But there is someone else. I see how you look at Arthur, Iseult."

Iseult's smile dropped slightly at that, but did not disappear, "Do you? You see how I look at him, and every silly young girl who has been in the castle recently no doubt. It doesn't matter how I look at him, my lady, it would only matter how he would look at me," She reasoned and shrugged her shoulders softly, as if she wasn't letting it weigh on her mind.

Morgause smiled wolfishly at the younger woman.
"And how does Arthur look upon you? Does he like you?"
