"So you are. Just...be careful," Arthur said urgently. "I could not bear to have to tell your father you had come to harm."

"Sire, I know that you wish thy is best for me but I am no child. I knew what I was signing up for when I agreed to come, as did my father. If something was to happen it would be down to my stupidity as it would to anyone else on this quest."
Dina gave him a smile then nudged he horse into a trot, then canter to meet the stranger.

The stranger was a tall man, broad-shouldered and fair. He galloped towards her with a cry, sword drawn.
"Name yourself!"

Dina pulled her horse to a halt
"My name is Dindrane, we are travelling through these lands to get to my home." She replied warily not willing to divulge the quest to a stranger.

"Oh are you? And what makes you think you have the right to be here on Queen Aelfigu's land? She does not like intruders. Especially not women."

Dina fought the urge to say something along the lines of I am only a small woman.
"We are sorry for any intrusion it is unintended. The rest of the party is male, I am the only woman." she replied waving a hand at the rest of them.

The man made a grab for her bridle.
"I care nothing for you and your companions. You will be brought to the queen to answer for your trespassing. She will suffer no woman in Sorestan to be more beautiful than she and you are a pretty maid."

Dina pulled the bridle sharply trying to stop him from taking it.
"I meant no offence to you at all if you wish I can go back to my friends and we can leave. Your queen need not know we were here."

The man reached out and hooked his arm around her waist.
"I think not. You will come with me."
He dragged her out of the saddle and pulled her up in front of himself on his own mount, slapping her horse to make it bolt off in the opposite direction.

Dina tried to pull an arrow out of her quiver and stab the man. She was very annoyed about being taken.

The man yelped but managed to take the arrow from her.
"Stupid bitch. Should have stayed well away."

Some distance away, Arthur and the others knew something was wrong.
"Merlin, would you send Archimedes to go look please?" Arthur asked. "He will surely pass unnoticed."

Dina grimaced and tried to get away from him. She grabbed another arrow and contemplated where to stick it this time quickly

This time, her arrow missed the stranger but jabbed his horse. In the animal's panic, the rider managed to stop them both from being thrown, but the damage was done, at least in part. His seat was dislodged. He and Dina fell onto the ground. Arrows spilled everywhere as they fell from Dina's quiver and the man tried to pin her down.

"I can try to get closer, your highness." Dinadan offered. "My eyesight is quite good, or so I have been told."
