Dinadan doesn't see the horse at first but then he looks more closely and sees the animal grazing from a clump of grass behind a tree in the copse where Dina had run into the Saxons.

It had been too far away for Arthur to see what happened. "Where's Dina?" He asked. "Is she safe? Did Dinadan help her?" "The girl is safe, just had to deal with a few ruffians on the road." Merlin replied, straightening his robes. "Dinadan should return with her shortly."

"Is that your horse?" Dinadan asked Dina, pointing towards the grazing animal.

Dina grinned releived, "It is." she said sliding of of Dinadan's horse.
She saw a few arrows on the ground and picked them up before mounting.

"Of course." Dina said she turned her horse so she could follow Dinadan back to the others

They got back safely to much relief from their companions and they continued on their journey.
//////////////
Some days later, they reached a Saxon hall.
"This must be the home of that queen with a silly name," Gawain said irreverently. "Why not pay her a visit and find out why she hates other women so much?"

Dina wrinkled her nose not appealed by the idea.
"If we have to." she said.

Arthur looked at the others.
"What do you think? I feel this lady should be brought to account if she repeatedly makes women suffer as Dina did."

"Yes, no traveler should be treated as we were." Dinadan agreed.

Dina felt it best not to argue with them
"Then shall we get it over with?" She muttered

"Perhaps Dina could remain behind if she does not feel comfortable coming along." Dinadan suggested, noticing her discomfort.

"Then let's go," Gawain said.
Arthur seemed wary but nodded his consent. They rode up to the gates and were immediately challenged by two fair-haired guards.
"No enter. No stranger."
Gawain dismounted and punched one guard.
"That's for telling us not to enter."
The other guard rounded on him but Gawain felled him too.
"And that's for your friends attacking the lady."
The men groaned in pain. Gawain shoved open the door. As they gathered around, they saw a very strange scene inside., A blonde woman with a cruel but beautiful face sat on a wooden throne at the far end of the hall. All around the walls good-looking men gathered. Women moved among them offering food and drink but all were ugly. But in the middle of the room an area had been fenced off. A man in a sleeveless jerkin presided over two naked women who were fighting with knives. Both women were streaked with blood and grime but the newcomers could see that both were beautiful and frightened.
"Oh gods," Gawain muttered. "That's vile."

Dina went very pale, if the man had succeeded in taking her she could be doing that. She shivered as if very cold and moved closer to Arthur.
"Can I give the man a warning shot?" She asked him, her fingers stroking the bottom of her bow.

"No," Arthur said. "But you may approach the lady if you please and demand to know why she makes women suffer so. I suspect the man is her lackey."
"Aye," Gawain agreed. "He probably obeys her to get her favour. The bitch looks like she'd be fun in bed, if nothing else."
