"Not many priests in Gore." Uriens replied, "It is too hostile a land for them." He smiled slightly, "No, I have heard this from friends who have been a traveling." "I see. I am pleased to know that there will be few priests to condemn me when we are married. I have spoken to my brother. I feel that we should be united under pagan rites. Arthur wishes for a Christian ceremony but I am determined our union be celebrated under our own faith also. Do you agree?"

Dinadan shook his head in mock reproval. "I would warn you of the dangers of love, yet I suspect this is not so much love as it is lust."

"Well spring is the time for the lambs and calves so it is a new time for them. And it is the new time for flowers and even the light looks new, dot you find?"

"Oh, yes."
Elaine giggled again and touched Lancelot's arm.
"You said you would do something if I asked. Would you go to the chapel instead of the fires, if I asked it of you?"

Uriens snorted, "Of course. I will not submit to a christian ceremony. We hold to the traditions in Gore." He added, "Will that make up Arthur's mind, or must he and I have a word." He glanced toward the kind.

"I should think that will be fine, though you may speak to the king if you think it necessary. I told Arthur I could not marry you if our gods could not bless the union," Morgan confided. "I think all will be well."

Lancelot smiled, "If it were for just me, then I would, but the only greater duties I have than my duty to the happiness of young ladies, is my duty to my King and my Mother, though, I could perhaps go, and leave early. Would it make you happy, My lady?" he looked at the hand on his arm and his smile dropped for a second as he was looking down, but returned for when he looked back to Elaine.

"Light changes to often for me, that I have not really noticed if I am honest, with every cloud and even depending on where you are. But I understand the birds and the lambs, but we are not those, and the things we do before stay with us, do you not find?"

Dina shrugged. "I have never really paid attention to what stays with me and not Iseult. What is done is done, it is what I do next that matters."

Uriens looked at her, and gave her a small nod of approval, "That is good. I would hate for our arrangement to be broken so quickly."

"Other people may not agree with you, but if you do not care about what they think then that will not matter." Iseult replied, she did not get the impression Dinadrane did care.

Elaine giggled and smiled.
"Yes, that would make me very happy. I am honoured by your kindness to me, Sir Lancelot. I just wish you were a Christian like me. Is it true that your brother is a Christian? I have not mt him yet."
////////
"Yes, I would hate it too. My brother match this match for the sake of peace and I never saw why he wanted a Christian ceremony for us. I think the priests are putting pressure on us."

Uriens growled low in his throat, "You see what I mean. These Christians can leave nothing alone. Our marriage is no affairs of theirs. I do not interfere at their ceremonies." His hand slowly turned into a fist.

Dinadan shook his head in mock reproval. "I would warn you of the dangers of love, yet I suspect this is not so much love as it is lust." Tristram winked at Dinadan. "Though lust may lead to love on rare occasions. I have yet to meet a woman I could truly love though. No harm in sampling the wares on offer in the meantime."

"Galahad? Sir Galahad, sorry," Lancelot said, with a wry grin, "Yes, he is a most devout man, you will hardly find too more dissimilar men than he and I."
