Lancelot looked at the girl for a long moment with a straight face before breaking out into a dazzling smile. "Indeed I am my lady." He said, and stood, before taking her hand and kissing it, "It is an honour of mine that such a beautiful lady would deign to speak to a lowly knight, such as myself. As you know my name, may I beg you for yours?"

"There are a few." Uriens thought a moment, and asked, "Have you heard much of my home land?"

"You are not lowly, Sir Lancelot. Your father is a king and your mother the Lady of the Lake. And I am Elaine of Astolat and I have gazed at you from afar and heard of your prowess but I never dared hope I could speak to you."
She continued to speak in the same nervous breathy voice, her sentences starting to run together.

I have heard a little but not much, it must be said. I would be happy to learn more, and to know my future husband better also."

Lancelot had begun to stop listening as she was finishing, but kept up with the well practised smile, "You seem to know more about me than I do, My lady, please, you seem uncomfortable, is there anything I can do to ease you?" He asked, retaking his seat and leaning towards her resting his head on his hand, with an easy grace. "And Elaine is a beautiful name. Very fitting."

Uriens looked at Morgan and offered her a slight smile, "I would be happy to teach you. Ask any question and I will attempt to answer."

"You are very kind," she said, giggling. "I am very comfortable. I wish only to be near you. I hope...I hope...we can spend more time together."

"I could never refuse the request of a lady. You are welcome to watch me train any time in the courtyard." He replied, and ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it slightly, "Tell me, if you wouldm, how do you celebrate the spring?"

Oh why is that? There is nothing more important than family in my opinion," Iseult said to Dindrane, "Why did you wish that?"
"Do you not find that your brothers try to rule what you do?" Dina asked with a grin. "They have got better over the years however."

Uriens looked at Morgan and offered her a slight smile, "I would be happy to teach you. Ask any question and I will attempt to answer." Morgan grinned. "Very well then. Are you going to the Beltane fires tonight? I heard you might be but perhaps my information is wrong."

He replied, and ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it slightly, "Tell me, if you wouldm, how do you celebrate the spring?" "Oh, with a feast like this exact one," she said brightly. "And dancing, I love dancing more than anything in the world! Do you dance, Sir Lancelot?"

Palomides looks across the hall toward Iseult, then returns his attention back to his hands, and smiles slightly.

"Of course I will," Morgan said. "I hold fast to the old ways. I will look for you there, my lord. Shall we celebrate together?"

Meanwhile, Sir Kay's people indicated the seats for the Cornish party, near to Arthur and the others and the high table. The king was already surrounded by people but the Cornishmen could approach him if they wished.

"I dance when the occasion calls for it," Lancelot said, "I must confess I was trying to find out if you would be going to the Beltane fires or not."

"My brother has never tried to rule me, I think women get more freedom in Ireland than they do here, my brother and I used to be very close." Iseult said, looking on as Morgan left before smiling brightly at Dindrane again, but not before catching Palomides eye and smiling at him, "They are surely just preparing you for marriage."
