Dina bit her lip.
"Try it dry first." She told him, passing one of the fabric headed arrows to him. "It is harder then it looks."

Galahad applauded stiffly when the song came to an end.
"A sad tale." He commented. "But at least she died with her purity still intact."

The young Uther took the arrow and though he had to think about what he was doing more he managed to shoot it without much trouble. His aim seemed fairly good.
"Was that alright?" He asked.
////////
"Yes, I suppose," the singer replied. "But how tragic she never became a true woman or married her love. But it was not her choice to keep her purity. Her life was taken from her before she had the chance to make her own choice."

Dina smiled encouragingly.
"Again." She told him.

"Perhaps it was God's choice to make, not her own." Galahad offered.

"Not as of yet," He said, with a dramatic sigh, "only the deepest love with the most wonderful of women will entice me into marrying," His face broke into a grin, "It would mean I need to find a woman who could match how wonderful I am... and I not sure one exists." He joked.

Thye boy shot again and this time his aim was slightly better. Dina could see that he had put effort into his archery.
"Can I try now?"
By his tone, he was clearly starting to lose patience.
/////
"Perhaps it was, but it's still sad, and haunting too. It was the first song I ever played on this harp, you know. I think it's sad when anyone goes to the grave without ever knowing the joys of the flesh."
/////////
"Oh, surely she does, but she is mine, and I won't let you have her!" Gawain said with a laugh. "What about one of the king's the Lady Iseult or the Lady Elaine? Both ladies are fair. I admit I haven't met anyone else who might be suitable. Or one of the druid girls of Avalon, perhaps?"

"Well that is something I do not agree with you on." Galahad frowned. "Lust is a cardinal sin."

Dina nodded slowly.
"Aim for the sand, not the butts, that way we will not be responsable for burning down the castle . And do not hold the arrow too long, else it will burn."
She held out a cloth covered arrow for him and let him nock before lighting it.

"Is it?" The singer asked. "If there was no lust, how would anybody be born? The Bible told us to be fruitful and multiply, at least I think it does."
////////
Uther was trembling slightly as he prepared to shoot the arrow. He took aim and fired. The arrow flew across the yard into the sand. It lit the air as it did so and the boy let out a triumphant yell before it extinguished itself. He grinned at Dina.
"That was...wonderful! Give me another!"

"Have you ever heard of a lustful Saint?" Galahad asked. "I think not."

Dina laughed at his enthusiasm and handed him another, lighting it barely a moment after.

"No," the singer replied. "But surely feeling desire for another person does not make one bad? Someone has to, after all, even if they can't become saints. I know which I would choose."
///////
The boy notched his arrow but, as he took aim, something went wrong. His arrow slipped and his bow lit on fire. He dropped it with a scream of panic but the fire caught his leg as it went down and his breeches caught fire as well. The boy screamed.

"As do I." Galahad replied stubbornly.
