"That is good but if you wish to perform here there is a cleansing ritual that must be performed. It is not fitting to perform without the ritual. This is a sacred place and the gods must have their due," the old lady said.

"So be it," Taliesin said, setting his lute aside, "I will do whatever this ritual requires if it means I can bring joy to the hearts of those here."

The old lady walked around the grove, chanting and waving her hands. It seemed to take several minutes then she turned back to Taliesin.
"It is done."
She turned and walked away. The young druid looked at Taliesin and laughed behind the old lady's back.

Taliesin held up his hands in surrender, his face a mask of shock, "That's not what I meant. I was simply saying she should go and see how disciplined the folk of the catholic faith are."

"Are they? I was born on Avalon. I've never even been to the Abbey. This is all I know. I have never met a monk or a nun. I know only what others tell me."

"They're very... humble. Let's just leave it there." Taliesin said. He then looked around, unsure of what to do, "So... am I able to play now?"

"Yes, you may. Grandmother did the ritual."
The boy's sister could be seen running towards them, a harp and a flute in either hand.
