Uriens looked at her, and admired her with out being obvious, ""I did wish to spend some more time with you. It has been quite some time since we were allowed to speak."

"Yes."
She seated herself and crossed her legs at the ankle.
"It's most unfortunate. But you're here now. I'm surprised you chose to remain here rather than go with Arthur, or head north to see to matters in Gore. Did you send word to your castellan to send Arthur the men he needs to fight Vortimer and the Saxons?"

"I was torn between the two. I have sent word, but it takes time for me to make their way to my keep. Then we will march." He replied.

"Ah good. I could not stand the thought that my future husband had not done as my brother asked. We will all be family soon," Morgan pointed out. "I only wish that I could go too, but Arthur trusts me. We will just have make the best of the time we have together."

Urien smiled slightly, "I hope to make the best of the time as well." He studied her face closely, "When does the crown wish to hold our wedding?"

"I don't know. We've not really talked about it. But I would like my brother and the knights to be there, so not just yet. But we could be handfasted for a year if it would ease your mind, my lord. I don't want you to feel like the king has changed his mind about our union."
She smiled sweetly at him.
"And there are other advantages too."

Uriens nodded, "I had thought there might be. That seems a fine arrangement to me. When may we commence?"

"Whenever you like. We may enlist one of the druids, or, since I have lived on Avalon, and know their customs, I may perform the ceremony myself. But I should like it to be outside the castle, in the stone circle. That way we do the gods the most honour."
She smiled again and walked the fingers of her right hand down his throat to just below his collarbone.
"As for what happens after that, my lord, you'll just have to wait and see."

Uriens grabbed her hand, and pulled her into a kiss. He pushed his mouth hard against, and slowly let her free, "That seems a good idea to me. The sooner the better."

"We could go tonight, if you like," Morgan suggested.
Her face was very slightly flustered from the kiss.

"Yes. I'll meet you at the stone circle at sundown, then. Come alone. We can announce our handfasting after the deed is done."
This time her expression was slightly mischevious. She leaned forward and kissed him.
"And now, my lord, perhaps you will excuse me? I must prepare for the ceremony. You'll want me to look pretty, of course."
